Midwest Vet is an amazing family practice. They are all top-notch, friendly, pay attention to detail, are caring, helpful, and always have your family/pets best interest at heart. We will never find anyone as good and are thankful to have found Dr. Troy and Dr. Acree. Professional, understanding, hard working - look NO further - this is THE place your pet should be to be well cared for. THANKS to them and hats off to all they have done to keep our pet healthy and happy!

I've went there for years and always liked the vets in this office. They are fair and compassionate. The ones I've seen realize we live with and know our dogs well so they take everything we say into consideration. The problems I have always had were with the paperwork. Many times over the years one thing or another has gotten messed up. Definitely check your paperwork info before leaving. I've been over charged, double charged, had wrong dates listed, and so on.

I've used them as vets and kennel services for over a year now and have never had an issue or complaint with the service or price. My two dogs like coming here, too.

If I were you, I would search around for better a better Vet Hospital/Clinic. I have had terrible experiences (yes, more than 1) with this vet hospital. We took a new dog there soon after moving to Midwest City. Essentially, we visited the clinic 4 or 5 times and encountered the following issues: 1. On our second visit, they did not have the correct name, phone number or information for our dog in their system. It took 2 more visits before they finally corrected it. 2. We took our dog in for tick treatment and she was returned with fleas. 3. It frequently took them several minutes before they greeted us. At one point, two of the desk assistants were discussing nursing school for 5 minutes before they helped us. I would like to think that it was because they did not notice us standing there, but the eye contact that was made would suggest otherwise. 4. They initially tested her stool for worms and said they did not find any. Less than a week later we had to take her back because she had worms. Since we do not have any other outside animals it is very unlikely that our soil was contaminated. When we picked her up, they wanted us to continue giving her medicine. The assistant that was helping us gave us 3 times the amount that she needed and then sent us on our way without giving us instructions on how frequently to give the medicine or what kind of dosages. We had to ask to talk to a vet about administering the meds before they realized they had given us too much. They would not give a refund, only a credit for future services. 5. In follow up to the worm treatment, we had to take a sample of her stool in for testing 10 days later. We took the stool in the afternoon, was charged an additional fee to "mix it up and look for worms or eggs, and told they woud call us within the next couple of days with the results. 3 days go by and we don't hear from them. We call and "nobody had received the stool sample" we had brought. We took another one and got to pay the fee once again. 6. Most recently, I called because I was concerned by our dog vomitting all morning and wanted to see if we should bring her in right away or try a couple of different things before bringing her in. I called at 7:50 and explained our situation, but was told I could not talk to a vet until they came on for their shift at 8:00. I called back at 8:00 on the dot and the vet was already with a "patient". So I left a message explaining that it was urgent because I needed to get to work and didn't know what to do about the situation. The Midwest Vet Hospital returned my call in just enough time for me to google a vet with better reviews, set an appointment, drop my dog off at, as well as discuss her symptoms and possible causes, that other vet, and be on the interstate headed for work before they returned my phone call. This Vet Hospital's lack of customer service and blatant disregard when we addressed the issues above with them directly earn them a VERY POOR rating in my book.

I have been going here for about 4 1/2 years. Dr. Thomas is the most amazing doctor! Dont let his older age full you! we have a Chihuahua and he is always so kind and gentle with her and always knows what it is that is wrong with her. anytime we are there for a sickness, she gets a steroid and antibiotic shot to help her get better faster. She has stayed here many times while we are out of town and she gets top notch care, get gets her nails groomed and baths while we are gone. I also have a boxer whom Dr Thomas has helped out very much. he had a EXTREMELY bad sinus infection and Doc Thomas looked him all over did blood tests started him on antibiotics, and a steroid and antibiotic shot, i had to take him back later that day under emergency hours because his breathing had gotten worse, but Dr. Troy was amazing and gave him some more steroid shot and antibiotics to take home with us. Most of the time they are running late, but to me good care is worth the wait. The front gets really busy and can be confusing sometimes, but i also work in health care and understand 100%!!! Best Vets ever, all have been there for many years and i trust them 100%!
