Animal Care Vet "Clinics", Blacktown, Chester Hill and Chelsea Veterinary hospitals. I will be speaking facts. Hires untrained staff, expects non qualified veterinary nurses to know duties of a qualified Veterinary nurse, when they get things wrong they get yelled at over and over. Hires new grad veterinarians and expects nurses to show them the ropes. If new grads make mistakes owner (aka Shiyamala Sivaji) will yell at them and blame them. Dr Shiyamala is meant to observe and train new grads instead she places them in her other 2 clinics Chester Hill and Chelsea Vet and expects them to run things. They always change staff (Highest complaint working for them from clients) Over priced products and services. Poor service from all involved. IMPORTANT: puppy farm is located under Animal Care Veterinary Hospital- Blacktown in the garage, Dr Shiyamala Sivaji constantly breeds french bulldogs. Business name for this was sharmbritty. I have photo which i acquired during my time at animal care vet which have been passed on to AWL, RSPCA and AVA. The Blacktown Clinic should be avoided at all cost, it is very unclean, Your dog is more likely to catch parvovirus attending this practice then being in direct contact with a dog with parvo itself. Again; Most of the staff working at all three clinics are not well trained. Nurses to the Veterinarians (not the new grads faults). Most of the nurse are work experience students left unattended to treat your animal. These people do surgeries with untrained nurses watching your animals. They do not know how to spot emergencies. All Dr. Shiyamala cares about is money, crying over the phone to her nurses and vets about not having enough to pay staff, blaming it on staff. (Causing a vet to develop depression for consistent bullying from Dr shiyamala) I am sure they will pull this comment down or say "they say bad things cause i fired them" but not in this case. I left. To Nerissa or the person claiming to be nerissa i am disappointed you would stick up for these people. I give these practices a -10. Would not recommend.

I have worked for Chelsea Veterinary Hospital for six months and know it to be a rare gem in the veterinary industry. It is difficult to find a clinic with their prices that acts as an emergency 24 hour practice every day of the year. All staff members dedicate their time and efforts to the patients whether they are coming in for check-ups or hospitalisation and surgery. I cannot understand the reasoning for the previous post, but our charges for hospitalisation are less then half of what he is suggesting and we have a vet on call for all emergencies that monitor any serious cases in overnight. The personal attack on one of our vets is also uncalled for and untrue. I know this vet has been practicing veterinary medicine for over 25 years and is frequently taking time to update her techniques and knowledge in all fields. I have just found Chelsea Vet and I know that I will be using them for all vet care . Friendly, professional and caring. I can recommend them highly.

I have been dealing with Chelsea Vet for about 6 months and I could not be happier. Great friendly service and the right advice. I highly recommend this vet.

Pets are left unattended; dogs bark all night. Not good.
