If you actually care about your pet, DO NOT SEND THEM HERE! We Just picked up our dog from this shit hole and need to take her to the vet to have all the scars and an eye that cannot close checked out, she is also loosing her voice after this experience and cannot bark properly. She seems exhausted and is definitely not herself. We were told our dog would share a cage with another female dog of the same breed to find out when we picked her up that she had to share with a much stronger and larger male who has clearly made his mark on our girl. The worst part is when we rang the owner, Margret, she was incredibly rude and and like previous reviews said she is not responsible cause we signed 'the form'. She stated that she can't be with the animals 24 hours a day and that our dog gave as good she got (from the larger stronger male mind you). There is clearly a reason that this is the only kennel in miles that still has vacancies in the months leading up to Christmas. Margret you are rude and unprofessional and the only reason your reviews do not average to a 1-2 is because you are posting 5 star reviews yourself. We put are pet cat here for 1 week. He was in good health when we put him in here and severely ill the day that we picked him up. He had to spend 3 days recovering at the vet hospital he was so sick and he is lucky to be alive! The owner made no effort to contact me when we were away to tell me that my cat was sick and made no effort to take my cat to the vets as the website states should happen.The owner is obnoxious and rude and basically said that she takes no responsibility what so ever for your pet animals when they are left in her care. Question is why are you paying her if she is not going to look after your pet?? We paid her to look after are cat and she failed and neglected him, as a result i am now out of pocket for thousands of dollars for vet bills! People dont do it, find some where else or go to your local vet and they could recommend a good one. NOT THIS ONE. God only knows hows she sleeps at night? We must all put are bad reviews on this page, the public have to know what this resort is all about.

I have been leaving my dogs with Rydges Pet Resort for 3.5 years for boarding and grooming. I can not recommend these kennels highly enough. My dogs are always happy and healthy after leaving them. They go for grooming every couple of months and I leave them at the kennels all day. The food is good and I consider the boarding prices to be reasonable and competitive.

Wonderful service.... my Jesse enjoys his days with Margaret and always comes home looking very swish.... He has also stayed for overnighters when we've been away and has always been looked after as if he was their own... I have no hesitation in referring Rydges Pet Resort to anyone who wants quality care for their pet and friendly service.
