The sensitivity shown by Rob and team when we said goodbye to our 13 1/2 yo German Shepherd was professional & compassionate, yet not intrusive. We thought our long standing association had come to an end.... Nardia is our new German Shepherd (now 3 1/2) and simply loves to drop in for cuddles (and maybe a sneaky treat) whenever we walking past. We have had to deal with the normal desexing procedures and annual vacs but also bloat, allergies, arthritis and more recently bite wounds. We have always been seen in a timely manner no matter the case load, with exceptional follow up. Truly fabulous practice with the ability to see the patient & owner behind the case!

McDowall Veterinary Practice is fabulous!!!! I drive past three other veterinary surgery's to bring my dog to them, and I wouldn't go anywhere else. Their service and care, are second to none. It's very obviously that they have a genuine concern, for each animal they treat! They are skilled, professional, caring and genuinely lovely people. Highly recommend them.....

Amazing, professional and caring practise! Rob and Tara plus all the staff are truly wonderful and friendly towards all the 2 legged people and 4 legged friends who come to visit. They did a fantastic job our looking after Maisie Mc (our little Moodle) when she needed major knee surgery! Highly recommended!

We have used McDowell Vets for a number of years and our experience has always been exceptionally positive. The team go out of their way to make sure you understand exactly what treatment is required for your pet and why and their post-op follow up calls and updates are always appreciated. I truly feel like Ginny (labrador) and Jasper (moggie) are part of the family as they are always treated as such.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Mc Dowall vets. The nursing staff were just lovely and very helpful. Dr Rob was very kind and friendly and he even showed me around the surgery as I had never been in before. I was very surprised at all of the medical and surgical equipment that they have access to (being a medical type of person myself) from ultrasound machines to digital x-ray, to blood machines. I was very impressed and felt that I could put my full confidence into Dr Rob and his team. Highly recommend to anyone after a very professional, caring veterinary service for their pets.
