DO NOT USE THIS VET. While he may care about the animals in his care he doesn't care about their future wellbeing or doing what he is legally required to do as a vet. He also takes shortcuts when carrying out procedures such as a spey or castration, you get what you pay for. Missing de-sexing tattoos in the ear, not actually performing a castration on a male dog. Micro chip details are not being lodged, which is the legal responsibility of the vet, they are also required to follow up within 2 weeks to make sure they have been lodged correctly- many animals have been left untraceable due to this vet not carrying out his responsibility- that doesn't display a sense for caring about animals. This vet also doesn't keep electronic records making it difficult to back track information or locate owner and animal details. The receptionists are unhelpful and rude also not caring for the wellbeing of animals that come through their care.

I live an hour and a half's drive from this vet and have three vets in my own town but have ended up making the trip to see Lance every time because of my experiences. Lance has a very caring manner, he gives of his time, will discuss things and answer your questions and concerns. He has obviously had a lot of experience and cares a lot for animals. He also doesn't charge the earth like other vets but make sure you bring cash as he has no eftpos facilities. Not many places I would bother writing reviews for but this was definitely one of them! Highly recommend.

The most incredible vet ever!! Loves animals and is just brilliant. I have been taking my pets to see Lance for over 15 years and now drive from Ipswich to St Lucia because no-one else compares. He goes above and beyond and puts your pets needs above all else and is 100% responsible for saving the lives of my pets on a number of occasions. He is brilliant and I would recommend him to anyone.

This is our second experience with Lance - He's a gentle, kind person who takes a fairly no-nonsense approach to treating our dog. He tells it like it is, and doesn't do unnecessary tests, treatments or consultations that really just cost money in the end. If your pet needs it, he'll do it, if it doesn't need it, he'll tell you. The only bad thing about his practice is that it's too far from where we live - but very worth the trip!!!

Not a good vet - may be cheap, but doesn't care about other people's pets at all. We took our 10 year old dog to see him because he wasn't eating, he kept discouraging us to do any tests because he thought it'd be a waste of money. Took less than a minute to examine our dog, felt a lump and immediately said he was going to die and we should put him down, we were completely devastated. We took him to Greencross vets, who did the tests and found that our dog actually had seeds stuck in his stomach and had to be operated on because we waited for too long. We've been taking our dogs to see him since they were pups, you would think he would actually care and take the time to check properly when it might be life or death situation, but no. Lesson learnt, don't cheap out on your dog's health! Not taking our dogs to him ever again!
