Walkerville Vet Surgery was highly recommended to me by a friend and I could see why from my very first visit. I had previously been taking my dogs to a bigger veterinary practice but felt like we were getting lost in the system and was looking for a vet surgery where my animals, and their particular care, were remembered each visit, as opposed to just being another entry into a computer. Every single member of staff at Walkerville Vets is absolutely lovely, my dogs (and myself) have always been made to feel as if we are important, we have never been rushed through consults, exams have always been thorough and when my old staffy needed dental surgery, it turned out to be bigger than anticipated, I was kept informed throughout the process and Dr Andrew Spanner was fantastic. I recommend Walkerville Vets for anyone looking for a friendly and welcoming vet practice who treats your animals with as much care as if they were their own. Keep up the great work guys :)

Walkerville Veterinary Surgery has been caring for our pets for almost 15 years. In an age of large multinational practices flooding the market, it is wonderful to have the personal care and expertise of such a dedicated team. Dr Andrew Spanner and his colleagues are extremely knowledgeable and compassionate and their expert help and guidance with some difficult issues has been exceptional. A "minnow amongst whales," is perhaps one way of describing this small, highly personable practice in Collinswood. I would prefer to think of it as the "ant that could," insofar as it is often the smaller practices that give world-class service moving rubber-tree plants as it were. Without question, Walkerville Veterinary Surgery was (and remains) one of the best parts of having relocated to Adelaide from the USA in 2013. We brought our two pets with us, a dog and a cat, and found Andrew and Company quite by accident. Absolutely the best. Nothing more to be said. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

My dog was very sick a few weeks ago, and Dr Tanya Dodi did a remarkable job in assessing, treating and following up on him.
