Not recommended for small animals. My loved guinea died in an operation, which could be avoided, due to operator's inexperience and lack of knowledge. Even though we specified one veterinary here, the operation was carried out by other veterinary, who has definitely had no experience of guinea pig surgery and didn't know anything about the risk of using anesthesia for guineas.
