The worst vet I have ever come across and will never take our animals there EVER! We were in need of emergency care for out cat who had been clipped by a car and was bleeding profusely, I had called around for after hours care and was told that I was not to bring our cat in until we had $175.00 up front and that didn't include any stitches, operations or Xrays that our family pet would need. That delayed what our cat had needed, we had to borrow money of a friend so we could at least get our cat in for care. Took our car in to Greencross Vets, we were more delayed due to the vet getting calls, talking to her superior and so forth. Ultimately, they put our cat on a drip and some pain meds and that was it. Next day they wouldn't release our cat to another vet till we had paid $250, which we paid since we got paid that day. Got our cat to his vet only to be told that it would be $600 for Xrays, and anything else, (Eureka Vets), and they wouldn't proceed till at least half of it was paid, more delay, by they time the vet surgeon got our cat, our first family cat, he had died. This after hours crap needs to be CHANGED!!! I understand that people don't pay there bills, I understand that it costs the vet allot of money, but not when you delay a animals life. I had to explain to my two kids why there little friend had died, which was preventable IF the after hours care and Eureka Vets OWNER hadn't been busy wasting time. WE PAY OUR BILLS AND HAVE ALWAYS PAID OUR BILLS, and we were treated like criminals, all in the name of the dollar. People are like, well it was just a cat, our cat wasn't just a cat he was apart of our family and he wasn't even a year old. These two vets in particular kept delaying and delaying because we didn't have the money upfront. How disgusting.
