My cat was taken to Animal Accident and Emergency by his care giver while I was overseas. He was unwell and the staff here were extremely caring and attentive. They were more than happy to take the time to discuss with me over the phone his condition when I called to see how he was, their level of expertise was astounding. It was so nice that they were able to put me at ease given that I was so far away and stressed about my pet. The knowledge and skill level of the staff was of a high standard and they were able to advise the best process needed to figure out what was wrong with my cat. I have recommended my family and friends to always go here when their pets are unwell!
When you have difficult decisions to make about the life of a sick and injured pet, whom you consider part of your family, the last thing you want to do is make the decision on your own without any facts to support you. The staff at animal accident emergency have given me the compassion and support to help me through the most difficult decision i've had to make for a long time. The care they took with my little pup was amazing. To me it looked like my pup was part of their family too with the way they handled the whole process. I have to commend the staff for their customer service and follow up to see how i was going days after my traumatic decision making. AAE, thank you.
I can't thank the team at Animal Accident & Emergency enough. The time and effort they put in to caring for each patient is incredible. I felt so looked after when I had to take my dog to them. I always know that he will be well looked after. Would highly recommend!!
My experience with this vet clinic was a bit traumatic. My border collie pup had a temperature so we presented being told the standard fee for a sunday night would be $140. I accepted this and after arriving a vet nurse looked at him and took his temperature. Then a young female vet came in and waffled about him needing $300 blood tests and she was very worried about his fever...even though he was still eating and drinking...he just wasn't playing like a border collie should. They gave him nothing. No antibiotics, no antinflammatry meds. Basically they did nothing and wouldnt have done anything unless we agreed to the $300 blood tests. We opted not to have the tests and went to our regular vet the next day who said he had a stomach virus and gave him antibiotics and anti inflams. Within half an hour my dog was back to normal. Unless you think your pet is dying and have no other option don't take them here, the vets and nurses appear to have only been out of school for five minutes and they are obviously being pushed from above to have tests done to rake in the cash. Very unhappy with the service I recieved and will not being going there again.
Very happy and relieved to have had an after hours vet surgery available. They don't prescribe antibiotics for viruses, thankfully!
