Having only just moved to Melbourne, I will always be grateful that out of all the clinics in the area, I chose Karingal Vet Hospital. Experiencing complications after an ACL repair (TTA) which had been done elsewhere, my dog was treated with great care, expertise and love, and I can only describe the service as being of the highest standard. The vets were very knowledgeable in general medicine as well as that particular area of orthopedics, conscientious and thorough, and prices were very fair. Not only was I very impressed with the veterinary treatment itself, but also the willingness to refer me to a specialist when the vet (promptly and correctly) diagnosed an additional complication (patella alta) that cannot be dealt with in even the best small animal practice. Without their excellent care, quick and accurate diagnosis and appropriately referring me when necessary, my dog would not be walking today. (PS, I worked in the area of veterinary practice for two years myself; I am "fussy" to say the least. But I can only warmly recommend this clinic, unreservedly!)
