DISGUSTING! - Don't do it to your pet! Our dog lost 10% of its body weight in two and a half weeks while boarding here, where she has come home unwell and suffering malnutrition after her short, but traumatic stay. She stank and seemed to have suffered a major personality change coming home. She seems depressed, anxious and fearful... Don't listen to the promises as we received these too, definitely not true. Take our advise, please don't do it your beloved pet!

Our big dog stayed here for three weeks in June, and we were super impressed with how he was cared for. We booked the large Chalet kennel, which after lots of looking at other kennels in Perth, we felt it was the most suited for a large dog. The owners show a genuine interest and love for the dogs. I can highly recommend this kennel and will be booking our boy back in next time we need it.

I will NEVER take my dog back there again. I picked her up yesterday after staying there 5 nights and she has not been herself since. She could not wait to get out of the place and on the whole way home she was so depressed. She was not socialised with other dogs like I was told they would do and when we looked at the pen when we collected her they advised there was no grass area where she could play, their website shows grass areas for play I was told I could call anytime but when I did I was made to feel like I was crazy caring about my pup, she was only ever referred to the 'white one' never used her name. I do not believe she was played with as regularly as they advised as on her walk last night she behaved like she had never seen people before. She has always been an excitable dog but this was beyond her normal self She has been moping about and quite skiddish and does not have a cold wet nose, and also a large scratch on her tummy, she is not well. If you love you pet as much as I love mine and who is not just a pet but a child then DO NOT take them here.

I have been taking our two dogs and cat there for the past few years and before them we boarded our previous two dogs, so we have been using Lake Adams for at least 14 years. We've found the staff to be very caring towards our 'kids' and have complete confidence that our pets will be well looked after. When we return from our holidays, our pets are in the same good condition as when we dropped them off.

I took my 2 dogs to Lake Adams Pet Resort recently before going on holiday. This was the first time they'd been boarded out & on arrival they (& I) were quite anxious. I left the staff with a flower essence remedy specific for stress which was administered to my pets at no charge. I could see how much the staff love animals, which put my mind at rest. I was so pleased upon my return to collect them to find both dogs relaxed & happy, & very comfortable with the staff caring for them. I won't hesitate to use this service again.
