I was fairly new to Calgary and finding a good vet was hard, I had tried two other vets in Calgary and just about given up all hope of finding a vet that truly cared and listened to me until I found Edgemont Veterinary Clinic and Dr. Kerr. I have a 12 year old Labrador Retriever, and she has a number of issues at this age in her life. I was really impressed with how much they listened and went over my dog's long health history with me to determine what was best for her. They gave me choices based on my budget and age of my dog, I was not made to feel like a bad dog owner because I decided against expensive treatments for my elderly dog, like I was at the other vet clinic. They were supportive and understanding. I have finally found a GOOD vet in Calgary!

This vet is wonderful. Was able to get a skin scrape and eat swab test results within 5 mins of waiting. Very knowledgeable and easy to understand. Will make this my primary vet

I have been taking my pets to this clinic for years now. The most recent was my elderly cat (about 15 years old). He was in alot of pain and had some trouble walking and we took him to Dr. Kerr for that last visit as it didn't look like we could do anything for him short of a lengthy hospital stay. Dr. Kerr helped us devise a treatment that we could do at home to try and see if he would respond, and he did! My kids and I are so happy that Dr. Kerr was able to help and give new life to our long term friend!

I've taken 2 cats and a dog here over the past 13 years and have always had a great experience with vets and staff. Most recently, Dr. German diagnosed and is helping us manage our cat's diabetes. He has been a caring and knowledgeable resource and is always available to answer questions, I would highly recommend him.

I wish I had never taken my dog there. I was telling a friend about my sad experience and she said she had heard the same negative things from other people. Avoid this clinic for the sake of your pet.
