Our prophy price (dental cleaning) is set out to match the ABVMA price guidelines that each clinic is issued annually. Although it may seem expensive, our prophy price includes a full dental examination; ultrasonic scaling and cleaning of your pet's teeth; and polishing. This price also includes intravenous fluids and preanesthetic bloodwork prior to the dental procedure as well as the anesthetic required to perform the cleaning. We also ensure a veterinarian calls each pet owner if there are any diseased or damaged teeth that need to be extracted and will provide an estimate at this time. I have been a loyal Crestwood client for decades - beginning back in the day when they did a lot of large animal (horses) work. Of late, their prices have just extended beyond my range. I like the people (most of the vets), but my disenchantment began with a $50 glance at a skin growth that was just a mole (in the examining room 3 minutes tops with Dr. Machum) and culminated with a $500+ estimate for teeth cleaning for a dog. After investigating the teeth cleaning options and finding I could get it done for less than half the price ($240) at the Spay Clinic (very good job, personable vet) and finding that I can also get routine vaccinations done there I think I'm done with Crestwood.

They are such a great group of people that work there, from the vets, to the techs, to the front end staff. Awesome people, and they take brilliant care of my cats. So highly recommended.

Crestwood vet is amazing! I had so many bad experiences with other vets in the city before I found them. Other places always seem like they are trying to get you to pay more, or buy more things, but Crestwood just does what needs to be done! The vets are extremely nice, and it genuinely seems like they care about your animals. Even after working all day she was still as friendly as ever, and very good with my dog. They always seem very open to answering any questions or concerns, even the ones that seem silly. Great place! I recommend to everyone!

good place to take your dog when/if hes sick, very nice people, and some of the doctors are top of the line. i recommend it to my friends. our last dog past away at over 20 and the last 3-4 years where horrible but this clinic helped our dachshund and us, make them the best we could.
