Ellerslie Pet Hospital has been nothing but fabulous to us since we moved to the clinic earlier this year. The staff at the front are fantastic and the veterinarians are knowledgeable and friendly. The most exceptional thing we have experienced is the drastic difference in price for dental work that we were quoted from this clinic relative to others. I never felt as though they were trying to rip me off in any way as I had with other vet clinics. The dental is now complete and he has healed perfectly. I also love that this clinic makes an effort to call you and check up on your pet after every appointment. It really feels like they care about you and your pets well being. I strongly recommend them!

They were great with my dog. The owner gave me a tour while we were waiting for the records from my previous vet. They have everything in their facility and I got the impression that everyone was pretty good at their jobs. They seem to genuinely care about the animals they treat. It wasn't cheap but if my little guy was in trouble I would absolutely trust these guys to take care of it.

I am moving to Ellerslie area in April and had an emergency visit a few months ago, so i thought i would try a new vet near my new home to get set up for the future. I called on a Sunday morning and they got me in that day. I have a 16 year old terrier who i will do ANYTHING to keep healthy as long as it is humane. Dr Jansen took us in immediately, fixed her all up, gave me a long term plan to care for her and keep her comfortable and healthy, all for a very small fee. I was shocked at how much they really do care. I have since then brought in my other dog, as well my mom is getting set up with hers two dogs, i cant say enough how refreshing it is to find a group of people who truly care. Further more, about a week after our first visit we got a card in the mail to welcome us to their clinic. It was addressed to Cinnamon my terrier. WOW. Epic great job, i am so happy to move to this area of town and have a new vet.

The most difficult decision of my life had to be made today. I had to say good bye to my best friend. She was 15 years old and was a whippet cross beautiful dog. She was the definition of unconditional love. This hospital had the most understanding staff and the Dr. was so informative.Sorry i don't remember her name as this all still seems like a dream to me. They gave me all the time i needed to say goodbye and i was with her when she closed her eyes. They took her paw prints for me and are doing them up on a plaque. I cant wait to get that. Thank you for your support in the most difficult time anyone has to go threw. I highly recommend this hospital as they treated Cocoa ,my daughter and myself with such professionalism and compassion. This was the worst experience! They offer me a discount over the phone for my two puppies then when I get there they act like I was never offered the discount! They offered to split the bill in two payments, I agree. 4 weeks later I have the second appointment, but was sick and contagious with Strep throat. I forgot to call and rebook as i could not make it being sick. They sent me an email 40 mins past my appointment time telling me I am booted from their clinic and I have to find another to care for my pets! They told me I was displaying "inappropriate behavior"? Well I was disappointed to say the least! What business speaks this way to a customer they barely know? This is a poorly run vet clinic, and the veterinarian I saw was hard to deal with too. She never smiled and seemed like I was barging in on her time. Very rushed, Treated the puppies like they were not really there, no positive interaction. They didn't even give us a chance!
