We were recommended to Ottewell after a bad experience with another Vet Clinic. The compassion and caring was amazing at Ottewell. We live a 30 minute drive and it is worth it. Recently a new Vet opening not 5 minutes from our house. But it was the same as our old Vet. They seems to just want to make money. Ottewell cares and understands what you are going through when your loved pets are sick, both emotionally and financially. Needless to say after our visit to the close Vet we went back to Ottewell despite the drive. I would give higher than a 5 if I could that is how much I love this place!!

I've been bringing my dog here since we got her in summer 2012. This is a fantastic clinic! I would (and have) recommended it to anyone and everyone. They take great care up my pupper. She had some issues when she was young with UTI's and digestive problems but under their care she hasn't had any major issues in over a year. Everyone is friendly and they never mind when I ask lots of questions (which I'm sure is annoying!). My dog can be quite rambunctious and excited but they are great about calming her down and distracting her all while checking she's healthy and even giving her any vaccinations (she has never flinched or yelped once, like she didn't even feel it). All in all the staff here are caring and knowledgeable and I will definitely continue taking her here.

Dr. Muzyka is compassionate, caring and very thorough. She does not order tests unless she is confident they are truly needed. Every staff member i have met there are friendly caring people. Dr. Muzyka is the only vet i plan on going to with my dogs, i fully trust her and my dogs love their visits with her and the staff!

They care very little about taking care of my pets and more about trying to sell me stuff that I don't need. My cat had a cough - and they said it was nothing to worry about and sold me a paste to feed her that would help her get over her cough - 20$ - I bought it out of concern, my husband reads the label and it was just cod liver oil. They tricked me into buying a very small can of cod liver oil (that she refused to eat). I had my dog spayed there and the stitch work was abysmal - I felt very concerned about the level of competence the vet had, when prior to this I had thought it was such a routine procedure that any vet could do it well. Afterwards they tried on 3 separate visits to sell me antibiotics - she had already healed!!! They are only in this to make a buck - I have switched vets.

I am also very surprised with the poor reviews. I have been bringing my dog here for 5+ years and they are very professional and passionate about what they do. I have even come in a couple times with minor concerns for my dog and they have not charged me for the appointment. Dr. Muzyka has been great and I would recommended her to anyone looking for a great vet.
