Dr. Finyak and all the staff at Parkwest Pet Clinic have been great to us whenever we have had a concern about our pets. We recently had to have our last pet euthanized due to a cancerous tumor. We found out about the tumor thanks to Dr. Finyak's extensive testing and knowledge. He immediately referred us to a specialist to confirm his diagnosis. We had to make the very hard decision to put our beloved dog down, and Dr. Finyak was supportive and compassionate of our decision. Dr. Petrut has also looked after our pets. As many other posts have stated, he is not in this for the money. He has a true caring for animals, and provides great service at a very reasonable cost. Karen, the receptionist has always tried to accommodate getting us in at the earliest possible time for our pet emergencies. When we had to put our pets down, she always had a comforting word and a hug. Every staff member came to know our pets, especially our beloved Tigger, and have always treated him with great care. Thank you so much for being there.

What can I say about Parkwest that has not already been said in the comments below? As other people have commented, they are excellent in every way. Dr. Petrut, Dr. Ulici and Dr.Finyak together with their support team treat you like family. They are caring, compassionate and understanding. They are willing to offer medical options and provide you with the details you need to make informed decisions. Although I live across the city from this clinic, I am happy to drive the distance. I trust them implicitly and that is what matters when a loved family member is unwell.

Everyone from the front staff, to the AHTs and vets are amazing here. Take such good care of my Shar Pei and Cane Corso. Extremely knowledgeable and compassionate, without gouging you. Our Cane had bad eye problems, and Dr Petrut was just fine admitting that this was beyond his expertise, and went out of his way to set us up with a vet who specializes in eyes. Didn't even charge us for looking at him and setting it all up. Did an amazing job on my Pei's toe surgery. Highly highly recommend!

Parkwest Pet Clinic booked me in quickly for my cat and Dr Petruk was absolutely great. He was so empathetic and booked my cat in for surgery on Friday. Everyone at the Clinic is great. Definitely one of the best vets I have ever visited.

I have been using parkwest pet clinic for well over 5years, they have always gone out of there way to help me in emergencies and take phenomenal care of both our cats and dogs. The staff are friendly and outgoing and genuinely care about the animals that they see, and keeping their customers happy. This vet clinic has always felt like an extension of my family, they have always been 100% up front and honest about costs and have never over-charged me for anything or surprised me with hidden costs. When I had my police k9 it was the only clinic I trusted to provide him with care. This vet clinic is a hidden gem in Edmonton and you will not be disappointed by the care your pet receives or the service you get. I encourage anyone who has had bad experiences with vets in the past to try them, they will renew your trust in an industry that has become about the highest dollar instead of the highest care.
