There is no better place to care for your animals in my experience. My first impression of Rick was that he was sincere and truly cared for the welfare of my dog first and foremost, he explained alternatives rather than a series of expensive tests which was not my experience with my previous vet. I had missed an appointment one night and the office called to make sure I was alright because they knew I was sick, now hows that for caring? The new clinic and team that have joined since are all great, I trust them all with my dogs health and welfare, and my dogs wagging tails and excitement when they go says more than any words I could express. Thanks for caring for Luci, Fletcher, Maggie, the fosters and me!

The doctors and staff at Big Rock Animal Clinic are always SO helpful and caring when I have brought my dog and cat to the clinic. Whether it is a scheduled exam or an emergency situation, they are always there to give support to both me and my animals. They are very knowledgeable and their handling of my animals brings me a sense of comfort and peace, knowing they are in good hands. They are also very attentive to my dog's needs, as he can be a nervous and fear aggressive dog at times. From the moment I first brought him to them, he has never once displayed any signs of that behaviour...as he feels comfortable and safe with them. Thank you for the great service and support in my dog, cat and horse care! I would refer this staff and clinic to anyone looking to find care for their pets.

Dr Rick, Dr Dane and all the staff of Big Rock are friendly, compassionate and happy to see you and your pets. They have always treated us like family. Been thorough with every exam and charged us fairly, without doing unnecessary tests that other vets will do to just charge you more. They always explain everything and encourage questions to be sure that you understand everything. They even encourage our children to ask questions and take the time to answer every one. They are gentle and compassionate and treat our pets like a loving family member of their own! I was lucky enough to meet Dr. Rick years ago in Cochrane, AB....always kind, personable and the ultimate professional, Rick has went above and beyond for myself and all my animals... I'm truly grateful for him, his awesome clinic, and all of his caring staff. His passion for veterinarian medicine is evident, but what sets Dr. Rick apart is his compassion. I never have felt that he would ask me to do unnecessary tests to rack up huge bills. Compassion and common sense always prevail. I drive 3hrs to visit Big Rock Animal Clinic, Dr Rick and his staff, because they make me feel listened to, respected, and cared for. Big Rock Animal Clinic is an amazing clinic!! The staff are all very friendly and extremely helpful. Dr. Rick is so awesome with all the animals, they all love him. He is very gentle and knowledgeable in looking after all his patients. The clinic is top notch, I am very impressed with all the diagnostic equipment they have to diagnose conditions and the equipment they have for treating them as well. The location is very good, and lots of parking. Overall, I think it is a great clinic!!
