Dr. Dugan has been our veterinarian for many years. He is very thorough and always takes time to explain things to us and obviously has a genuine affection for each of our pets. Dr. Dugan has our heartfelt appreciation for the excellent standard of care and concern he shows for our pets and us each time we visit his office. We would not consider taking our pets to any other veterinary clinic.

My little dog Lulu has been going to the Red Deer Veterinary Clinic for all her checkups and shots since 2008. She was spayed in 2009 without a hitch and enjoys popping in for her yearly visit. I had made the mistake of feeding her what I though was a dog food from a reputable name brand company, but things just weren't right. The stuff seemed to run through her too fast, and her odd accidents in the house were huge messes. At the advice of Dr. Dugan we switched up her diet and she's been perfect ever since.

Very grateful for the service at this clinic. Very caring doctor that certainly knows what he is doing. Our kittens life was saved because of the service and dedication this clinic provides. I can't imagine taking my pets anywhere else. Our kitten was in there for 6 days battling distemper. They saved his life and cut the costs for us. Will never forget this clinic or the staff. Forever grateful!

I had a Yorkie pup ("Baby") that was diagnosed with a liver shunt at about 10 weeks of age. This type of liver disease is fatal unless you are able to have the surgery done by a specialist to clamp off the shunt which is about $5000 and no guarantee it will work. Dr. Dugan and his son John, provided me with an abundance of knowledge and support on this condition as well as emotional support and a friendly ear to vent to. My sweet Baby passed away in my arms on August 4, 2012. Her life expectancy was approx. 1 yr but with a ton of love and support lived very happily for 23 months. I missed my baby girl terribly but will never forget the support I received from the Dugan family.....thank you!!

I am finding it difficult to believe anyone could have a negative review of this clinic. I have found this veterinary clinic to be excellent at all times and in all ways. They have reduced their costs for me when my cat needed extended care, they always remember both mine and my pet's names, they touch my cat in a friendly and caring way and have recommended medicines and techniques over the years that have proved invaluable. I would recommend Dr Jim Duggan to anyone! I have personally been in the office when other vets have come in to ask his advice and even to ask him to lead a surgery they were unsure of doing themselves. We moved to the other side of town a year and a half ago but I would never consider changing vets to a closer one. I would much rather have a truly caring person caring for my pet than someone more convenient. Please ignore any negative reviews. This man is extremely experienced and cares alot for animals.
