Highly recommended. Dr. Borgmann was wonderful. My poor little cat suddenly took quite ill and was beyond saving. She gave me all the options, but also told me that it was probably time to let her go. Many vets try to tie you into hundreds of dollars of diagnostic tests just to learn HOW your pet is going to die. She was gentle, kind and sincere when she said that I likely made the best decision for my cat by letting her pain come to an end. She even saw that I needed a hug after all was said and done. Highly recommend this vet for her empathetic treatment.

Brought our chocolate lab in for an eye issue and again a few months later for diarrhea and vomiting. The clinic is clean (no weird dog or disinfectant smells) and the staff are all really friendly. I appreciated that the vet gave me the treatment options, listed prices, and gave me time to call my husband to discuss what we wanted to do before proceeding. She didn't pressure me into expensive treatments and gave clear advice.

We have been taking our dog to the Whatcom Road Veterinary Hospital for many years. We have always found the staff to be friendly, knowledgeable and they treat us like family. Whenever we take our dog to this clinic, she literally drags us through the door. I find that all the staff and the Veterinarians put you and our dog’s best interest at heart, explaining all options fully allowing us to make an informed decision. The warm cozy waiting area and exam rooms help reduce the stress levels for both of us. Keep up the great work – you all do an amazing job!

Caring, Intuitive and understanding, Dr. Borgmann demonstrated exceptional knowledge and diagnostic skill that saved my Terrence’s life. Not only was she able to do this but she also managed to answer all my questions in a way that I could understand. Terrence, a Jack Russell Terrier had Addison’s disease. This disease is called the great pretender because it masks as many other symptoms but she nailed it. The ensuing treatment and follow up gave Terrence back about 5 years he felt so good and young. I was particularly impressed at how she worked with me and never shied away from my millions of questions especially when I was freaking out about some of the symptoms. I got to participate fully in his care and work at her side with my dog. She took care of both of us and took all my suggestions seriously. It wasn’t just that. She also developed a wonderful relationship with Terrence who no matter what test he had to go through was always so happy to see her. Dr. Borgmann puts the Pet first doing what is best for them and what makes them the most comfortable and then ties that in with the Pet’s owners to find solutions that work best for both. Straight forward and to the point you are always well informed and prepared for all eventualities whether they are symptomatic, medical or financial. Best of all she really listens. Always happy to recommend her I recently referred some friends with a dog whose mouth was so infected with bad teeth that they had to go. But instead of gumming his food now he has reinforced gums fashioned by Dr. Borgmann. This happy little fellow is in great shape now and much happier. I highly recommend this practice and Dr. Borgmann for the caring Pet owner.

We have nothing but good things to say about Dr Borgmann and her staff! We have been bringing all our pets to her for years and wouldn't think about going anywhere else. She has always showed genuine concern for our pets well being as well as ours. All of the staff are willing to go above and beyond to ensure our pets get the best care. I highly recommend this clinic!
