as with most vets, the lady I saw was in a hurry to sell me a bunch of medications and tests, and although I paid for a checkup she didnt do anything besides answer my questions, not even basics like listen to his heartbeat or look at his gums. I'm not a vet, I pay good money to have someone with experience look at my dogs health, but vets used to take their time and ask questions to determine a problem, now they don't even look at the animal, just start listing off all the drugs they are being paid to sell. the only way to determine anything is apparently with bloodwork for over $300, so how the hell do they justify $70 for 5 minutes of telling you what else you need to buy? why not cut out the middle man and have the receptionist give you a pamphlet detailing medications and tests if the vets are clueless without lab work? I was given medication to improve cognitive function, but to me it seems obvious he's in pain, not confused... but she just listened and didnt ask anything, isn't that her job? to find out what's going on? if I just wanted answers without the analysis of experience and education I could have gone online and saved my money.

I took my chickens here and the vet was not familiar with chickens and didn't recognize what I later found out was a fairly common deformed feather follicle. He had no idea what it was. A few months later I phoned to get the weights of my chickens from their records and they had only written it as Chicken #1, #2, and #3, not even by colour! So there was no way or knowing which was which. Staff is friendly and the office is nice but I won't be going back.
