Dr. Art Ceballos is the most unprofessional vet my family and I have ever dealt with. We have brought our dog there on numerous occasions and have had generally good service, until this past week. Our dog needed an ultra sound done and was quoted by front desk originally about the price range. Upon reconfirming the price range with Dr. Lackner, we were quoted a higher price range than what Dr. Fisher had originally said, and once we told Lackner that, she had asked us to confirm the price with front desk instead. No problem still, front desk quoted us $380 in the end, which was similar to what Dr. Fisher had said originally. Upon hearing that we gladly committed to bring our dog in. After ONE WEEK, we received a phone call from the clinic, saying they actually misquoted us the price. At this point we were a little frustrated due to the back and forth of this situation. We asked by how much, if it was a reasonable amount then no problem, but to our surprise it was $100 more than quoted. We asked to speak to the owner of the business to discuss our options and that's when Dr. Ceballos took over. We asked him if he was willing to split the cost of the overage with us ($50/$50) since the clinic was the one that made the misquote after we already committed to bringing our dog in. He advised us there is nothing they "are willing to do because it's not like the ultra sound has already taken place". We stated our case that we were quoted 3 different amounts now and it has been frustrating for us and time consuming as a consumer and would appreciate it if they owned up to some of the cost. That's when Ceballos started personally attacking us, saying that we are trying to take advantage of them, and no way will they assume any of the costs. After back and forth on the phone we hung up and took our dog to another vet who charged us less and got it done immediately. Here is the kicker, the next day, we received A LETTER from the this place telling us to find another vet somewhere else. Please do yourselves a favor and never deal with this place especially "Dr" Ceballos. Honestly, the rest of the staff is great and helpful, it's unfortunate the owner's ego precedes his ability to run a business.

My older cat had surgery here for a broken tooth and the removal of some lumps. All went well and she is still chugging along. There were no surprises with regards to billing, although these procedures are never cheap. I had to have 2 cats put down on two separate occasions at Seafair Animal Hospital. The veterinarian was very compassionate and supportive during those difficult times.
