They don't tend to be very caring and they are a tad bit ignorant towards raw diets. If you don't want to feel welcome then that's the place to go. Their staff doesn't seem very knowledgeable on the price lists. On top of that they LIED to my face saying my cats were infested with fleas. Being a groomer I am very knowledgeable about flea infestations . They wanted to sell us Advantage and Heart worm medicine and pushed it very hard. We told them we'd access the problem and see because I was very doubtful. I then checked all my pets and there wasn't ONE sign of fleas. Hands down they are liars looking to make a quick buck on people who might not catch on. Money hungry fools they are! They also weren't very gentle with my sore kittens as they put them in their kennels, literally dropping them in through the roof.

We took our little 8 lb cat in with what we thought was an abscess tooth, but turned out to be a broken jaw, either from our large dog accidently or a bully cat, we'll never know, but we did fear the worst. We weren't able to pay thousands to fix a cat that may not be fixable or unable to eat properly, nor did we want her to be in any pain. Dr. Peter said he would wire her jaw and try to fix her, and he did! We were amazed at her progress. Dr. Peter kept her for almost 2 weeks to ensure she was good to go home, and when we voiced concern over the potential cost of such a lengthy stay, he assured us he would stick to his quoted price. We were extremely pleased w/the level of care our little cat got and also with the final invoice, as quoted. She is now home and eating and drinking fine. It may not be a fancy vet, but I believe they do good work, give you honest answers, and truly care about the animals.

I read the previous reviews and my experience is nothing like half the people below. My dog recently had a surgery to remove stones and she had so many.... the doctors took good care of my baby girl and I thank them for saving her from the dreadful pain she was in. They were very kind to call every few days to check up on her when we brought her home and they made sure to give us instructions on everything up to how and when we should feed her with her new diet!

I HAVE NOTHING BUT GOOD THINGS TO SAY ABOUT DR. PETER AND HIS FANTASTIC STAFF. IF YOUR LOOKING FOR A KNOWLEDGEABLE AND CARING VETERINARIAN LOOK NO FURTHER. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM TO ALL MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY.

We originally took Cooper to another vet in Burnaby to have him neutered. However we were quoted almost 1200.00 when they came back to us regarding possible additional dental work. I was not prepared to spend that much so we decided to bring him to Surrey Animal Hospital and have them take a look at Cooper. We ended up getting a quote of 275.00 to get everything the other Vet was quoting us, however they told us to wait on the dental work, so our bill came to 180.00 with neuter, micro chip and other needs. They are the MOST reasonably priced Vet we have seen in the past 6 years, they will be honest if they can't help my dogs, and they get the job done. I have been to other vets that are nicer in appearance office wise, but they charge too much when they know too little!
