Dr. Joel Parker and his staff are excellent. I took the New Client Builder workshop, and it was truly amazing. About 99% of the seminar was new to me, and I have heard it all from your "typical" veterinary consultants. They are the real deal! They will help your practice thrive. It's that time of year where I reflect on where I've been, where I am, what I hope the next 12 months will bring....as I review all of these things, I think about the person I was when I started with VPS, all that I have learned, all that I have overcome and how confidently I now look forward to the future. VPS has really helped me understand what it takes to effectively manage my veterinary clinic. VPS does not just teach you elementary things such as "make sure your front lobby is clean, have cookies and coffee for your clients, and watch your exam room flow." Instead they get into the meat and potatoes of the problems of managing including understanding how people communicate, barriers to learning, the importance of really hatting, training and posting, establishing your organization by strata, and putting in checks and balances. It is eye opening and I can't wait to take my own business to the next level!

I had been in private practice since 1993 and had spent most of that time struggling to make ends meet. In 2009 I was done. I just couldn't continue to live like that. I found VPS at the NAVC, started with their Team Building workshop in Vancouver. I have been working with them almost continuously since that time and they have given me the tools to take my practice from almost out of business to grossing a million a year. We now have an organization in place that makes the business run smoothly whether I am there or not. My stress level is significantly reduced and I feel successful finally. Worth every penny and every minute of my time.

I met the VPS team via their free practice analysis this past spring. I was impressed by the insight I received, especially at no charge. Our practice was doing OK but I wanted to fill more seats in that waiting room. Money was tight but I (we) decided to do the New Client Builder Workshop in the spring of 2014. It was money well spent. Within a month of implementing many of what Dr. Joel Parker and his team recommended, our practice started having record months. In the last 6 months we have set new total gross income records 4 times with Oct. 2014 being our best ever. We doubled our gross from that of Oct 2013! This was done with out adding a new doctor. We did expand our hours buy about 10/week (we had to!). We still have not even implemented all the recommendations yet but will continue to add more and more. We have since done one more online workshop and my wife (office manager) was able to attend the Power Team Builder workshop in Vancouver, Canada.
