During our dear Yogi's recent illness and final passing, Dr. Bell and her wonderful staff have been incredibly caring and gentle with him and our family. Their professionalism and thoughtfulness are beyond words. I would (and do) recommend Pacific Cat Clinic to any cat owner who wants the best of care for their family member.
We are a young couple who adopted a sick little cat and they have been helping so much trying to find out what is wrong with her! Plus we are moving across the country and they have also been very helpful in finding ways to make sure she is happy as possible during the flight. Everyone there is so nice and helpful and I am really sad that I can't take them across the country with me.
I brought her to the vet, and the whole thing went awfully wrong. I imagined that bringing her in would give me some answer, but only I got more questions. The Dr. said she hasn't felt this kind of bump before so it could be a tumor or a saliva duck that got clogged. Either way surgery would be very difficult in this area. Still she offered to do a biopsy where she would take a sample of her with a needle and send it off to the lab. All I needed to do was leave the cat for 30 minutes, but the result only has a 70% chance of accuracy. My other choices were xrays or ultra sounds. I made it clear that wanted to know how much would this all cost me. She wasn’t helpful with my concerns for budget. As soon as I said I’d like the biopsy but wanted to know how much it would cost, she just took the cat to the back room and then after waiting ten minutes I received a form of cost, 450! I was just so exhausted emotionally and they took the cat already that I felt I had no choice. I feel this vet is good at exhausting people out of their money. I should have said something but felt it was too late and weakened emotionally. After going for a cup of coffee next door and bawling my eyes out, I thought about how stupid I am to fall for this, what does it matter if surgery is expensive and difficult … why did I have to throw my money out like this. "enjoy the rest of the weekend" said the polite person as the victims eyes were drenched with no hope left for her beloved familiar.
Been taking my cat to Pacific Cat Clinic for 14 years. He's been through some rough patches but PCC always helps us and him get through! He's happy and healthy and almost 15 yrs old now.
The professional and courteous staff are always willing to assist you.
