i had taken my cat here to get a check up cause she was throwing up after eating. The doctor told me she needed surgery to check for clogged intestines. Two thousand dollars later it turns out that my cat just needs Ranitodine (a stomach antacid) so for the next 2 years i buy the medication from the vet without problems. suddenly on my next time to get the medication, i am told by a couple of very rude staff that my cat needs to be brought in for an examination, which is going to cost me an extra 70 dollars. this is clearly nothing more then a cash grab. then the vet tells me that they will not give my cat medication unless i bring her in for that examination. clearly this vet puts money before animal safety and comfort. this is Ranitodine were talking about, any one can buy it over the counter from safeway. I called my pharmacy and will be getting my cats meds from them for now on. I WILL NEVER return my pet to this veterinarian. NEVER!!!

Bought my dog in. I must say it was the worst experience in my life. I received invoice of over $1000. with items such as dog food that I did not order that cost over 150. Staff calling my pet insurance to request more money on my account, with out consulting with me. My dog was dropped off at 8:45 am. I pick up my dog and 4:30 pm to have her covered in fetus. NEVER NEVER again will I use their services nor recommend them to anyone else.

If you are a Millionaire and like being RIPPED OFF then this is the place to bring your pet. This vet used to be open 24 hours, emergency but was closed down. My dog received a teeth cleaning and the bill was $1,100.00 dollars. That's right, One Thousand and One hundred dollars. I wouldn't recommend this vet to anyone, even if he was the only Vet in the world.

I've entrusted my animals to this vet for many years. He is compassionate, knowledgeable and treats all animals with the utmost care and respect. The staff is friendly and helpful, the equipment up to date and the workplace is clean and tidy. It can get a little pricey at times, however good vets aren't cheap. If paying for emergency treatment is a hardship, Dr. Zheng provides a subsidy service to help make difficult choices easier. Above all, I know that the Animal Hospital of Manitoba staff always treat my animals as well as if they were their own. I've trusted them with my loved ones for nearly twenty years and would recommend them to any pet owner without hesitation.

One of our kitties became very ill (megacolon) a few years ago. After several expensive emergency room visits, we brought our kitty to Animal Hospital of Manitoba for treatment. He was in a bad way and we opted for surgery, it was a success and he's a spry and happy now as a kitty can be. We've continued to use the Animal Hospital of Manitoba as our primary vet for his ongoing care (and our other cat as well), and have always received excellent personal and professional treatment from Dr. Zheng and his staff.
