Dr. Suzanne Thiessen and the whole team at South End Clinic are wonderful, warm, and passionate about pets! When Dr. Thiessen worked at a clinic 40 minutes from my house, I made the trek with cats yowling in their carriers because no one puts as much effort and attention into her patients as she does. When my father's dog developed allergies, Dr. Thiessen worked tirelessly with us to determine the allergy and find a way to make our pup more comfortable. When my cat was terrified of the vet clinic and had a panic attack in the examining room, Dr. Thiessen brought his shot out to the car so that he wouldn't have to return to the scary room. When I called her on a Saturday afternoon just before she closed to ask about my mom's elderly pet, she patiently listened to my concerns and helped me make her more comfortable. And when I adopted a handicapped kitten with neurological issues, Dr. Thiessen researched the condition, risk factors, and recommendations of other vets to make sure she could provide our cat with the best care possible. Now that she has moved to a closer clinic with a staff team that is as dedicated and knowledgeable as she is, I am thrilled to continue to visit her and my animals are always given the highest level of care at a very affordable price. I always trust that every recommendation they make is in the best interest of my animals and my bank account! I refer friends and family to them every chance I get, because I know the level of care and commitment simply cannot be topped.

Our two cats have been going to South End Vet for their yearly shots since they were kittens. They had been under the great care of Dr Molnar until he left to move back home. Then in mid-August one cat developed a disorder called Feline Hyperesthesia. This is when we met Dr Thiessen and got to know the staff much better as we were there quite regularly in Sept to Nov. With the help of Dr Thiessen, we were eventually able to figure out the cause of this disorder, thus a treatment for Tasha. Dr Thiessen and staff were always available by phone, email and in-person to help us through this ordeal. She also did some research for us on the type of meds and dosing we could use as we worked through the various causes, she referred us to a specialist and she was always there for us with information or support. It was a very stressful time, but we always knew that Dr Thiessen and staff would not stop until we found a solution. I am happy to report that we are no longer regulars at the clinic (although we miss you!) as Tasha's condition is now under control and she is returning to her normal cat life.

Taking my cat to South End Veterinary Hospital was a very pleasant and stress free experience. The staff and veterinarian, Dr Thiessen, were very kind, helpful and the knowledgeable. I did not need to wait for my appointment and was seen promptly at the appointed time. Dr Thiessen did a thorough exam of my cat and gave a great explanation of potential issues with my pet. It will be sure to take my cat back South End Vet Hospital for any care that he needs.
