I am a little disappointed in the clinic. The vet herself was very nice. However we were told the price would be $55. After the needles were done and we went to reception she said it would be $80. Oh we were told $55 we said. Reception said oh the leukemia shot was $25 extra. We said we wanted the $55 shot. Response was ohh sorry. It's not the money that bothers me. Its that they just assumed it was fine and payment shouldn't be questioned. Not happy of being taking advantage of. Be sure to pay attention on what is done when you are there and what the costs are first!

I've taken my cats there for years, for both minor check-ups and life-threatening illnesses. I have also had to take them there during their final days. The staff is quite understanding and good at doing what they do, and they have given a number of my pets additional years they wouldn't have otherwise had.

The NG Vet Clinic is the best....I've been taking my dog there for 6 years. I travel from Halifax to New Glasgow because of the excellent and practical approach to providing veterinary services. The staff are friendly and helpful. Top marks from my dog and I!

New Glasgow Veterinary Clinic - I didn't have such a good experience as others here. They told me that my dog needed to have 2 or 3 tooth extractions, during a $40.00 oral assessment. They pulled 12 teeth. I questioned the purpose of the oral assessment and suggested that this was a service that was not required and asked for a $40.00 reimbursement. The vet was professional; however, the woman at reception was rude and was slamming things around on the counter. In the end I had to pay the $40.00 fee.
