I had a horrible experience at Askey aninal hospital. They used to be my regular vet for my shih tzu and for three years had no problems. However when I went seeking help for my dog who had eaten an onion (onions are toxic to dogs) I was told I was a horrible and irrisponsible pet owner for being unable to afford overnight hospitalization that would cost $800-$1000. They did induce vomiting and a lot of onion came up, they also gave charcoal to absorb the toxicity, but Dr. Verma told me my dog would die in the night. So I took my dog home and called the emerg vet asked what I could do, and was told that because he had brought the onion back up he should be fine just to make sure he drank lots of water. Today my dog is 100% better but we will not be returning due to the rude and very hurtful way I personally was treated as a worried pet owner, as well as having a money hungry vet who does't really care in my opinon. This all took place September 1st 2013

I had such a great experience with my Dogs at Askey! I was really taken back with the love and care toward my guys as well the expertise of Dr. Kohn Gould. I highly recommend Askey or their large chain of locations here in Burlington. Thanks so much guys!
