We took a very sick cat in for her first visit and were treated with kindness and professionalism. Our Saturday appointment was slightly delayed, and the front desk staff person apologized for this (though it was not his fault) and let us know why and how long it was likely to be. Dr. Somer was thorough and gentle with our baby, and made sure we knew not only what the immediate plan was, but what were some likely next steps. The unfortunate reality is that veterinary care is expensive, and Dr. Somer outlined the treatment steps and costs up front for us.
I saw two different veterinarians here, and both were great with my new puppy. The staff is very friendly, were great with my dog. Today I had a long wait because of a sick walk-in cat that they had to care for before seeing me, (I was there for a check-up and vaccination for my puppy) but the staff was kind, offered me coffee, and were apologetic for the wait.
Our cats had been treated by Dr. Somer at another clinic. We were elated to learn that she has opened her own hospital where she now cares for our 3 cats. Your choice in where to take your pets should be a long and involved discovery of who will best suited to care for your animals. The choice on where to bring your pets should never be based on choosing the closest clinic to your home. Do your pets not deserve as much effort in the selection of a health care provider as you would put into the selection of a new a car? Don't take the any Vet will do approach. Dr. Somer is highly knowledgeable, patient, compassionate, and a fantastic listener. You owe it to your pets to stop by and meet Dr. Somer and her staff to understand that this is the place is exactly where your pets need to receive regular care.
I have been bringing my 2 cats to see Dr. Somer before she moved to this location. She is very attentive and gentle to my cats, even one of my cats is consider "vicious" whenever she's at the hospital. Staff are very nice and knowledgeable. My appointment is always on time. Dr. Somer explains in layman terms so I understand. Clean place. I will definitely go back again and again!
My fiancee and I brought our new puppy here. We rescued her from a terrible situation of neglect, and when we got her, she was underweight, with patches of fur falling off her and terrible lethargy and diarrhea. Dr. Somers and her amazing team not only nursed her back to health, they have been there for every crisis, and for all the "firsts" with her. They took care of her for 6 days while we were away for a surgery, and when we picked her up, she was happy, healthy and much better trained than when we left her. Their invaluable advice, hands-on care, daily phone calls and exceptional treatment of us and our baby girl have been outstanding. I would recommend them to anyone at all who loves their pets as much as we do.
