Very welcoming, friendly and helpful staff. Recommended!

Based on the reviews here we tried them out and our experience was positive. The friendly female vet gave us very educational explanations of what she was doing (like, "I'm touching X on your cat to see if Y, because that could mean Z") which was reassuring & informative, and she had that gentle-but-deft manner that's nice in vets when she was handling our anxious cat. The cost was true to the quote we received on the phone, and they didn't try to upsell us with unnecessary tests/products even though they had several clear opportunities to do so. Altogether they came off as caring, professional and well-organized. I haven't been to other vets in Toronto so I don't know how this place compares, but we were happy.

The team at Danforth Vet Clinic are truly amazing. We've been taking our dogs there for a few years. Got annoyed at their high prices and tried a new vet. Went back to Danforth after 1 visit to the other vet - the care/service is worth the money. Recently we had to put down one of our 2 dogs. They were wonderful. They were compassionate and made the process as easy as they could. We thank them from the bottom of our hearts for the service/care we got with that process, and whenever we bring our pets in.

I haven't been here in years, like, 5+, so things may have changed. That said, I've switched for a place farther from my house. They were always rude when we brought my dog in, especially if I took him in/picked him up alone (I was 12ish). Made us wait a long time when we showed up, never had him ready when they said, never saw the vet except once, and they never really explained things. Nothing too annoying until once when we had our dog have a haircut here... I'm not going to say my dog stands perfectly still, but he's small and quiet.. he doesn't jump around much, no matter what you're doing. So the fact that they cut him on his penis, treated it without contacting us and then charged us $80 for the medicine used (on top of the grooming fee), was quite awful. I found they were always over priced as well.

We’ve been going to Dr Au since our little one was a still a puppy. She is wonderfully thorough and kind. We recently had to get travel papers and health records, which required extra work. She was very generous with her time and completed the extra paper work with detail and care. We will miss her and look forward to our annual visits.
