We chose this vet on a recommendation from a friend. We feed our Bernese Mountain Dogs raw, titre test and try to prolong their lives through holistic treatments. While we have always loved and respected Cindy Kneebone, I am sorry to say we can't recommend this clinic after the death of our Bernese boy. The reception staff barred our access to a knowledgeable vet in a time of emergency during their normal weekday business hours. We needed access to a vet and the phone staff would not get a vet on the line to advise us. By the time we acted it was too late to save him. In the past this clinic has tried to sell us marked-up supplements ($97 for a bottle of glucosamine that you can get at Shoppers for $13!?). While we understand a healthy markup is necessary for business, it shook our confidence in their honesty and made us educate ourselves about every single treatment or product they recommend. So maybe in a sense that's the silver lining: we know a LOT more about caring for our Berners now than before. Still, we are looking for a holistic clinic without the gatekeeper staff. We need access to a vet when our boys need it, not when the clinic staff grants it.

I've been with this clinic for 8 years and the last visit I met DR. Chiu who convinced me to run 3 tests on my dog which cost me about $500. After we got the test results she basically did not know what was wrong with him. She sent me home with some medication that made my dog very sick. I called the clinic manager a month later and she basically told me to come back for a revisit DR. Chiu to re-diagnoses of the symptoms a month ago when she saw him. This clinic is a money milking machine with horrible customer service. I WOULDN'T EVEN GIVE IT A 1 STAR!!!! DO NOT GO!!!!

Holistic medecine is the way to go - no more traditional veterinary medicines for me and my pets. The doctors are very informed, caring, knowledgeable, helpful experts in their field. My cat lived to see 20 because of their intervention. I would highly recommend bringing your pet to this clinic.
