My husband and I have taken three of our dogs here and they have always received great care. Our current dog who was a senior beagle mix from the pound who was pulled by a rescue group on his very last day 3 years ago. He had a severe case of mange, malnutrition, yeast infection, ear infection, etc. This poor dog was very ill and in pain. Dr Sohal did not hesitate to do everything he could do to help our dog. 3 years later we have a very healthy and happy 13ish year old dog. Without Dr Sohal and staff he wouldn't have survived and we wouldn't have a wonderful doggy family member who we love so dearly. I highly recommend The Bloor-Kipling Animal Clinic.
This is where I bring all my pets. Dr Sohal and his staff are excellent. These people are very kind and caring. Once they cancelled on me because one of their other patients had swallowed a needle- this fact alone tells me they are a good clinic as they will go out of their way to help a person's pet instead of just telling them "go to the VEC".
After taking our pets to a vet which is 45 min away for many years, this vet was recommended by the Mississauga humane society. The vet is very caring, gentle, and priced very reasonably. Highly recommended!!
our minnie pin nearly died under Dr. Sohal's care. The clinic doesn't have an operating room hence they use unsanitary space to perform operations. This left our dog half dead after a routine spay. The stitches literally looked like they had been done by a shoemaker -different colored thread & huge wound for such a small dog. In the name of your pet - please do Not take your pet there The receptions are terrible. Keep you on hold, don't understand what you are saying & keep you waiting 45 minutes or so just picking up medication/food. If you have an "appointment" you can expect to wait 3 hours more- No joke. This clinic is not cheap - after almost 10 years going there we finally realized that today. Received prompt, courteous service from another toronto vet who knows what he is doing. BEWARE of BLOOR Kipling- tell your friends & family not to risk your pets life in the hands of someone who doesn't care less after your pet turns 5 years old-Dr Sohal simply says he or she is too old & turns you down for appointments. The techs/receptions are mere teenagers who do not know the industry,.-with pets & dealing with clientelle-you might as well go to a nursery
All they care about is money not your pet plain and simple. They will try to convince you to buy things you would never need costing hundreds of extra dollars. They take advantage of your emotions towards your pet . I'm glad my baby took a crap on their floor just as we left.
