We brought our 15 year old cat to Dr. Spence and her clinic after having a very poor experience at another vet clinic in Etobicoke. From the moment of booking our first appointment, we knew this was going to be a wonderful place to care for our cat. All of her staff are lovely and friendly and helpful, and Dr. Spence herself is a superb veterinarian and amazingly caring person. We didn't feel the least bit rushed as she took all of the time necessary to do a thorough assessment and answer all of our many questions. Her demeanor with our cat was that of someone who genuinely likes animals (casually stroking our cat's head as we discussed all of our options) as opposed to many vets who seem to only feign interest in the animals they are caring for. We subsequently went back for two follow-up appointments at no additional charge (beyond any additional tests and medications obviously, but the visits themselves were free) and continued to have a great experience. Our cat is now healthier than she has been in years and we are so thankful of Dr. Spence and our experience. We've had 6 or 7 vets over the years (in various cities in Ontario and neighbourhoods in Toronto) and this is by far the best we've been to. Pricing is competitive with most others and the fact that followup visits are free is a huge bonus! The facility is small but very well maintained and the staff actually take the time to do a thorough exam room cleaning and change blankets between animals. Don't hesitate to take your pets there, you won't be disappointed and will receive excellent care.

Brought my cat here. I had to give him up because the surgery was far too expensive. The vet's personality instantly changed once I couldn't pay. I was told that I was going to be notified when he was adopted. I waited a week and an half and then called the clinic, turns out he was already adopted and they would have never called me. I was told over the phone that after I signed him over he wasn't my responsibility anymore- my question is then "why would you tell me I would be notified? Is this a cruel joke?" There I was thinking the surgery didn't go well and he was suffering, when in truth I was just lied to. My advice, you better have money otherwise you're worthless at this clinic.

We switched to Dr. Spence after reading amazing reviews online and we are so happy we did! Her and her team are so great and have been so helpful with our 2 cats and our greyhound! 100% recommend! =D

Brought my cat in for a specific issue. Saw Dr. Spence. Very happy with her attention to detail, very thorough. Would recommend. Very clean office, very nice staff. Prices are what you would expect. No pressure to "add on" to the bill, although I did pick up some speciality food. Cat and I both left happy.

Dr. Spence is one of the best vets I have ever dealt with. She has a calming approach with the animals and clients. Her natural ability and instincts as a vet is incredible, with rare diagnostic skills and vast knowledge backing her up. I always understood everything she was talking to me about, she took the extra time to explain what she was doing and what was going on with my pet in laymen's terms. One of a kind!
