Thank you to all staff and support staff at Blair animal hospital, we had to have our pet euthanized and they were so caring, it was not a money grab, and we had even called a mobile vet and was told could not be done today his freezer was full...... Blair animal hospital showed compassion and the vet actually ended up in tears with us. Thank you for being so understanding at such a difficult time

I cannot say enough good things about this hospital. I spent almost a full week there, with my pet who was in kidney failure and required IV treatment for four days. I think we may have been served by just about every staff member in the hospital at one point or other, as our vet doesn't work Sundays and Mondays. Every single interaction we had with someone was not just professional, it was courteous, highly competent, warm and caring. My dog hates going to the vet's, but she loved everyone there. I prefer places where the staff get down on the floor with the pets when they can, instead of making them go up onto tables. This is that kind of place.

In short: avoid this place if you have something serious going on with your pet. Reason: Support staff is awful. I needed to transfer my pet to another hospital and I asked for the stool sample back to show to another doctor. I was told that the courier picked up the sample for testing thus not making it available to me. (everyone has cell phones these days, they could have called the driver… but apparently this was not possible!) They said I would receive the results in few days. We were then told that stool was not sampled at all. I suspect they just dumped it in the first place but found various excuses. I can’t comment on the doctors as they seem to have open conversations with you and discuss options in a professional and enthusiastic manner. However both the doctors and support staff make the clinic impression as a whole and in my opinion whatever excuse they may explain they failed for me. Ultimately customer does not need to listen to an organisation’s excuses, it shows lack of control and professionalism…I won’t go there again.
