I was getting sick of the prices & up-selling of our vet ("you need to buy our food!") , so I decided to look for a new vet to start bringing my pets to instead. Since we needed to have our Yorkie neutered, I started calling around for pricing, and this place had the best price by far. Initially, I was worried that the price might be indicative of the quality of the practice, so I decided to go in for a little tour and to meet the vet (yes, there is only 1 vet here!). Everything was surprisingly brand new. A major selling point for me is they have their own lab and can check everything in-house instead of having to send it all out for crazy prices. After this, I decided to go ahead and get my dog neutered. He is doing great! (1 day post-op), they were quick to call me with his blood-test results before the surgery and were very informative about the results. Dr. Walia also let me know when i went to pick my little guy up that he was bleeding for a bit longer than is normal after bloodwork & from his incision, so he had thrown in some pills to help with that, free of charge. Overall, a great first experience! I love how Dr. Walia is the only vet practicing here, so I can actually get to know my vet instead of having a new one each time. He seems to genuinely be excited to be a vet and loves animals. He even had a bunch of pictures of my little guy to show me when I picked him up because he was so "cute" in the cage after surgery - the blanket he had in there was better than the one he has at home :)
