This after hours clinic was a life saver for my cat Jasper. They dealt with my emergency at 9:00 pm at night and did not hesitate to get me in ASAP. Jasper stayed overnight and thanks to Dr. Hopper and her medical team, Jasper came home feeling like his usual self. He had been vomiting and not acting normally. After some tests and medication, he was back at home. The cost was nothing compared to what I had expected to pay and they were the only animal clinic in the city that was open at that hour for such reasonable prices. I saw that this clinic is going to be open Sunday's and I am sure they are going to help a lot of very sick animals. I have had the best experiences here!

If you love your animals you should bring them to London North. They have been handling my dog’s health needs for a year now. They are not overpriced and they truly care about your pet. The place has a warm friendly environment and the best staff any vet office could ever ask for! They have the facilities for just about any animal's needs. A great plus for me is its location and its also open late!!

As we approach the 2 year anniversary of London North Animal Hospital I am very proud of what we have accomplished with our clinic. We are one of the few clinics in London that are open late and because of this we see many animals that otherwise would not have been treated due to financial or time issues. We have had so many people thank us for being there for them, yet unfortunately it always seems that the people who have an issue with us (and 99% of the time it is over money) are the ones who seem to take to time to vent their frustrations on our review page. Human nature I guess. When you compare our costs to the other clinic that is open late at night you will find a huge difference, often the difference between life and death for many animals. People who complain that our prices are too high should ask themselves whether they would get the same excellent service after hours for a more reasonable price. And we do strive to get excellent service each and every time for all of the animals under our care, that is why we are here late at night instead of in bed or at home enjoying time with family and friends. We are here late at night because we care and we want to help as many animals as we can. To address the review regarding the Bordetella vaccine issue, as explained to the female owner, we are required by CVO to fully examine an animal prior to vaccinating them. If we have not seen them recently, there may be new issues that are present that we may detect during a physical exam that were not present six months ago. In fact one of the dogs in question had not been seen by a vet in over one and a half years so many problems may have been present. Just because we do a full physical exam and do not find anything wrong does not mean we did not do a full exam, in fact it is good news when we don't find anything wrong. This is our policy and is in line with the good medical practices set out by the CVO which we follow closely. In this situation, we have another issue with an owner not wanting to pay our fees. I would caution other clients from taking the advice from a person whose main concern is the cost of the procedure and not receiving full medical care for their pet. The fees stated in the review were also incorrect, as the cost would have been $60 for the exam and $28 for the Bordetella vaccine = $88. We do give a reduced exam fee for this vaccine. I am sorry that this client is upset but we did explain the situation fully to them and they still insisted that they should only pay $28 which is extremely unreasonable. Our prices are set where they are so that they are fair and reasonable, especially given the fact the we do not increase them at night when the other clinics are closed. Many other clinics in town charge much higher fees than we do and they close at 5 or 6 pm at night. Again, our mission is to help as many animals as we can at a reasonable cost and it is unfortunate that they are always a few that feel we are "horrible vets" because of this. This is a rather strong and hateful statement from someone who did not even have their pet receive the service here, upset only over money, the animal was not misdiagnosed or sick or even died under our care, the only issue was simply a matter of money. If our fees are too high for a client's comfort zone, there are many other day clinics who have lower fees which this client could have switched too without the negative and unwarranted comments posted here.

Worst vet I have ever been to. Only concerned about the most expensive test they can do for your pet to get the money from you. I brought my pets in for a checkup and then 6 months later wanted a booster of the bordetella vaccination for both my pets and they refused to do it without charging me another 80$ per dog for what they call a "exam" i.e look in the dogs mouth and listen to their heart and lungs and always say things look fine. Never returning.

All I have to say about this clinic is that it's far better than any other clinic I've taken my 2 dogs too. The quality of care for the animals is exceptional and the staff are compassionate, friendly, and very knowledgeable in what they do. They always seem to really care about my dogs and make sure the process is as easy for me as possible. They respond to emergencies quickly and efficiently, and it helps that they have such great hours. They're very flexible with availability, as I can still go take my dogs in after I get off work, since they're open late. Definitely recommend London North Animal Hospital over others if you want exceptional care for your pets
