It's interesting that "AMY D" has nothing to say about Masonville at all, yet posts a 1 star and just runs down the other positive reviews, vaguely admits using 2 accounts to post reviews, then accuses Dr. Kenzie of using duplicate accounts. It appears you are the one using duplicate accounts, Selina, Amy, or whatever name you go by today. I assure you I am a real person, and a happy customer of M.A.H. And no, Dr. Kenzie did not ask me to write a review. Ironically, I am questioning whether you are real, as it doesn't sound like you have actually visited the same place you and I are reviewing. Your personal attacks and your constant vitriol among other satisfied customers isn't becoming of you and it takes away what little credibility you may have built up via your inconsistent story posted as Selina E. If your rabbit died naturally shortly after you took it to M.A.H., then you had waited too long. I run a moderate sized rabbit rescue, and know about rabbit health and illnesses. Since you give no details as to your rabbit, we can only guess and assume it was something sudden and serious, like eating something he shouldn't have had access to, being injured at home, or having gastric stasis ignored for too long. Either way, it is not a veterinarian's fault that your pet had chance to fall so far into poor health before they got to see it. I started using Masonville Animal Hospital after Dr. Kenzie came to that location. I needed a good vet that knew about rabbits, and those vets are hard to find. I have had many of our pet and rescued rabbits in to see Dr. Kenzie, and have always found her personable, caring, and very knowledgeable. She genuinely loves rabbits. Her treatments she has provided us have definitely resulted in many more healthy and happy years that we could share with our bunnies. She has done neutering, X-rays, and some more minor surgeries on many of our rabbits, as well as our dog, and has always shown a genuine care for each of our animals. She has shared a lot of her knowledge with us at no charge so we could take better care of our rabbits, some of which come to us in less than healthy condition. She has always advised based on what is best for the animal's interests and health, rather than selling her services. Dr. Kenzie has gone above and beyond the call of duty on several occasions for us, even donating her time after hours in emergencies. She also boarded one of our medically fragile rabbits personally, at her house while we went on vacation since she could not give documented proof of clean health required for this bunny to travel. On the rare occasions when we have had to bring in a pet for their "final vet visit", the staff at Masonville and especially Dr. Kenzie were very supportive, sympathetic, and caring. When our senior dog had suffered a debilitating stroke and again when our 13 year old house rabbit was blind, partially deaf and very arthritic, our animals and us were treated with gentleness, patience and sympathy. Decisions were left to us, without any pressure. We presently have 5 rabbits, and if needed, I would take them to Masonville Animal Hospital without hesitation. The other staff there have always been friendly, caring and accommodating whether we are bringing one of our animals in for an appointment or just coming in to purchase supplies. I plan to keep using Masonville Animal Hospital, and I hope they keep Dr. Kenzie there.

I have had nothing but great experiences with Masonville Animal Hospital and especially Dr. Kenzie. She is a very caring and dedicated veterinarian and really adores rabbits. I am a student and decided to have my rabbit spayed. I was unable to afford the $250.00 up front but they were very helpful in getting me on a payment plan that was very affordable for me. I was even able to choose the amount I could pay per month. They took excellent care of my rabbit. However this was my first experience with an animal post-surgery and even with the information and advice for care I was very nervous. Rabbits are delicate and I was worried mine was having a hard time with the recovery (not eating/drinking, not pooping, and would sit very still which is a sign of pain). I got a hold of Dr. Kenzie and she offered to take my rabbit home to care for her and make sure she pulled through the recovery free of charge. She took great care of her. She also guided me more in caring for my rabbit. Dr. Kenzie really has a way with rabbits. Mine will not sit still for nail clipping but Dr. Kenzie is able to keep her calm and makes it look so easy. I believe I was only charged for nail clipping once and that was because that was the reason for the visit. She's always willing and available to give advice (again free of charge). She even responded to my emails while she was on vacation. Dr. Kenzie even offered to take care of my rabbit while I traveled home (9 hours from London). Unfortunately she was also out of town the same time I was leaving, but she was very helpful in trying to find another to care for her. I moved to another part of the city and went to visit another animal hospital that was nearby and although I didn't have a negative experience, I really much prefer Masonville Animal Hospital. The people at the other clinic (on Wonderland) were not as friendly. I felt that their prices were higher, they had longer waiting times, and they were less accommodating. Staff at Masonville always seem very friendly and it is very evident that they love each and every animal that comes through the door. I truly believe that Masonville Animal Hospital takes the best possible care for you and your pet. I moved from London last year and really miss this animal hospital.

My lion head rabbit would be dead today if it was not for the quick and wonderful care that he received from Dr. Kenzie. Our rabbit needed surgery as soon as possible. When I asked her for a few minutes to discuss our options with my family, she agreed. She allowed us time to consider our options. We agreed to the surgery and she informed us of the risk . Dr. Kenzie notified us very late that night and inform us that our rabbit had made it through surgery and was doing well. When we picked up our rabbit, Dr. Kenzie was very good at explaining the medication to myself and my daughter. She gave us suggestions about some dietary changes that we need to make for our rabbit. I found that Dr. Kenzie has a lot of knowledge about proper care and dietary needs for rabbits. I feel that Dr. Kenzie went above and beyond her requirements to take care of our rabbit. If my rabbit needs to go to Masonville animal hospital again I will gladly return to Dr. Kenzie.

I wanted to write a review to complain about a recent experience but now that I read some other people's misinformed and ignorant reviews I decided to change the tone a bit. We have owned cats for 25 years and have sampled the services of about 3 veterinary clinics in the north end of town.We have stuck with Dr. Kirby and his group the longest because they are by far better than the rest. Most of our experience has been with Dr. Kirby and Dr. Parker. They are both excellent diagnosticians and they definitely have never tried to up-sell us on anything. Their rates are actually better that we found elsewhere and they do what is necessary to keep your pet safe and healthy without going overboard with the treatments and vaccines. My only beef with the clinic (and the reason for not giving 5 stars) is that we have had to wait on some occasions for up to 30 minutes to see a vet after we were put in the exam room. Trying to control a loose cat in a hot exam room is not pleasant. That's just a pet peeve of mine. If I make it to my appointment on time you should too. If you are looking for a vet you will do yourself and your pet a favour by choosing these guys. They are very good at what they do (albeit at times late for appointments)

I have been going to Dr. Kenzie since I first brought my baby (dog) home a few years ago. She is by far the most caring and affectionate vet I have ever met. She always goes above and beyond. I can call her anytime with any questions and she will help me. She is always willing to offer advice. She is so gentle and kind with my dog Gucci. Gucci loves her and although isn't a fan of going to the vet, Dr. Kenzie has a way of calming her. She even will sit on the floor with Gucci. I couldn't imaging trusting another vet with my dogs health. Thank you Dr. Kenzie we are so very lucky to have you!! Jillian
