I love bringing my cat here! From the first visit, everybody was very friendly and you can see that they enjoy what they do and treat their patients (and their owners) very well. Linda always provided all the information needed to care for my kitten and now that she is growing I look forward to coming back (often!). Thanks everyone at the Cat Hospital!

Mediocre at best. I just visited the Cat Hospital on Burnhamthorpe RD earlier today for my two year old cat who had cut up around her mouth trying to scratch her collar off, and also broken a nail. The vet (Linda) found the most important things to explain to me during the appointment was about routine dental care, flea medication, and the oral Hills Science Diet food that I should definately give to my cat. All I needed was antibiotics and a check up on her broken nail. She spent over an hour inside the room with me when it should have taken less than 30 mins. If you are easily duped by vets offering extra services, re bookings, and treatments you do not need - do not visit here. However, the vet tech was EXTREMELY caring and knowledgable, and did not try to sell me anything against my wishes. Be highly cautious when visiting, Linda charged me 77$ just for an exam, $4 for just a tiny bottle of soap - yet the antibiotics cost only 30$ for 10 days. I have never in my life spent 77$ on an exam for a pet, even for my 95lb german shepherd. Be wary, perhaps try a different vet.

I had my cat spayed here. The vet was extremely professional and showed lots of care for my cat. Understood our needs and the fee was very reasonable. Closely monitored my cats progress at no extra charge. Highly recommended. A vet that really cares for the cat, not just about money.

I've been thoroughly disappointed with this vet and will not be returning. In short, the vet does NOT care about your animal and is VERY insensitive. It's ALL ABOUT MONEY and her charges are RIDICULOUS. Example: I was quoted $1000 to give my cat an enema because he was constipated. I brought him home and he went to the litterbox on his own within 20 minutes. The reason her charges are so high is that she will try to keep the cat in overnight for every little thing, always using the excuse of "being too busy" even though it can be traumatizing for a cat to stay there. Who cares, so long as it puts the $200 or so overnight charge in her pocket. They always try to convince you to do extensive blood work for everything=more $$ in their pocket. The last time I went they convinced me to do so many tests for diseases he showed no signs of having, just to make more money. The secretary called my cat a prostitute when telling me not to let him out of the house. Could it get any worse? When she performed an abscess surgery on my cat the vet didn't even bother talking to me when I came to pick up the cat - she didn't care. I highly recommend GTA Mobile Vet Dr.Farokhzad instead.

One vet made me, a new cat owner, think that my cat was sick. I was so concerned, she was really mean & made me think I wasn't taking care of him properly. I would hope that vets catch neglecting pet owners in the act but to make someone who cares for thier pet feel as though she/he is doing a terrible job, just to get some extra money is pretty sick. I took my cat to a great place in Mississauga where they reasured me that my cat was fine. They do not pull any tricks for extra money there, so I always feel safe. What that vet at the cat hospital did really affected me & I just hope she has cleaned up her practice for the sake of people like me & for her staff who were great.
