Where do I begin? Simply fantastic vet. My siberian husky managed to eat two remote control batteries (along with the remote) while I went upstairs for 2 minutes to pour myself some coffee.I immediately brought him to Westbridge and they didn't miss a beat, while I was admittedly a mess. X-Ray's were done very quickly - turned out one of the batteries had been punctured, AND he must have eaten a thick winter blanket, as there was a bunch of blanket in his stomach (- so the batteries were a blessing in disguise believe it or not). He was in surgery shortly after I came in with him, and that night I took him home. He's been in FANTASTIC health ever since, thanks to the diligence and sincere caring of all the staff at Westbridge. Their facilities, training, and technology employed are some of the best around. If you want a FANTASTIC vet that sincerely cares about you and your pet..... look to Westbridge. Enough said!
Terrific Vet Hospital. Five stars. We have a 4 year old white german shepherd who is a 100+ pound baby and tends to get very anxious during visits. Everyone at Westbridge is consistently great -- from Andi at reception who is friendly and helpful, to Rachael who is the 'dog whisperer' and calms our giant down every time, to Dr. Rosamund who is so knowledgeable and communicates so well. A terrific team of staff - highly recommended. (Prices are pretty reasonable but could be better.)
First of all I must say that Dr. Buller has been an excellent veterinarian. However, I cannot say this about the receptionist named "Andy". I dropped by the Westbridge Veterinary Hospital today to pick up the flea prevention that Dr. Buller gave my doggie last fall. Andy assumed I was a not a client and said my dog must have a heartworm test done before any flea treatment. The other receptionist quickly had asked my name and my doggies name and looked up our file right away and told Andy that Dr. Buller had given 2 treatments to me for my dog last fall. I mentioned to Andy that my sister in NS goes to the vets to pick up her Revolution treatments without doing heartworm tests . Andy said she didn't care what other provinces do. It was the manner in which Andy spoke to me - very rudely and in an ignorant manner. Andy comes across as a woman with a chip on her shoulder. There was no need for her to have treated me in such a manner. After all - she wouldn't have a job at the vets if it wasn't for people like myself that love animals. I have a call into Dr. Buller right now so she can be made aware of the situation. Sad when a receptionist makes a client feel like they are bothering them by coming in to buy a product that the vet recommends. If you want to be a Vet Andy - perhaps you should go to school and become one. In the meantime let Dr. Buller answer the vet questions. Dr. Buller I give you a 5 star rating but receptionist Andy - I give you a ZERO star rating.
We have 4 animals, 3 cats and a dog and since bringing our most difficult cat to Westbridge I would not take our animals elsewhere. The staff is professional and courteous and the Vets are exceptionally professional and helpful. We recently had our dog spade; her incision scar is hardly noticeable and has healed exceptionally well, a testament of the skill and care the Vets take in all of their work. The Vets all spend extra time with us to go over our concerns and offer insight into our animals that we wouldn’t have realized without their guidance. Our pets love all of their Vets and techs and we do too. Their prices are very reasonable, and their advice and foresight has prevented future costs which we found is not so straight forward when dealing with previous Vets. I would pay more for the quality and expertise they offer, I believe it is because they truly care for the health and well being of all animals and their owners.
There are no words to discribe this vet. They are Excellent in everything they do and the staff is great. I would never go anywhere else this is by far the very best around anywhere.
