We've always had a very positive experience here and love the vets...Jamie and Izabela in particular...and other staff. Our cattle dog, Zoe, is very afraid of the vet and Jamie will often come and see her outside so she's a bit happier. The vets take the time to explain things very thoroughly and don't talk down to us. I have a degree in Biology and have worked in animal rehab so I appreciate that they talk at my level. They also are open to my views on things...for instance, when I'm wary of a certain drug or vaccine. Desk staff and techs are always friendly and helpful. I would confidently recommend this clinic to anyone. Thanks for all of your help and care over the years guys!
We have been clients of the Mount Brydges Animal Clinic for the past five years with our Irish Water Spaniels. From day one they have been amazing and willing to work with me about our rare breed but last Wednesday (24 Sep 14) one of their vet techs (Ashley) went above and beyond! We headed to the Finger Lakes dog shows and just after we crossed the border at Queenston I realized we had forgotten my one dogs meds back home (seizure and heart)...I frantically started looking for answers from them...we went to the Ithaka Cornell University Emergency Hospital and they would not fill a prescription from a Canadian vet. I again am on the phone with Ashley and she is determined to help us so we don't have to return and forfeit the weekend and the accommodations we have already paid for. Ten minutes later she calls us back and she has secured enough medication to get us through the weekend by thinking of calling all the pharmacies in the region until she found one that would fill the precriptions by a faxed copy from our vet...So thanks to Ashley thinking outside the box, Wegman's for filling the prescriptions our weekend was saved...I cannot say enough about the wonderful people that are employed by the Clinic and the amazing vets that work there...Thank you all.
I would like to thank the staff but mostly the Dr.. sorry I forgot your name. My name is Pamela McInnes I called Strathroy they said no I could not get in today call Caradoc st. in Strathroy so I did they said no. In the end I said goodbye to my boy Simon. Thank you very much, for your kindness.
WILL NEVER RETURN! My dog has lymphoma a type of cancer , we were dealing through this vet office and they referred us to guelph. After months of treatment my dog was in remission and was doing great. Just recently he has started to relapse and I called Jayme here the owner of this office . HE told me I may as well give up on my dog as he doesnt think its worth giving my dog another chance at life. I have been struggling with financial stuff and I explained this to him, willing to leave post dated cheques or even come in on the day I get paid to personally give him the cash. He refused to help me or my dog, he told me hes sitting there with my dogs chemotherapy medcine but said my dog wll not recieve treatment until he has money up front . He is a selfish greedy man only interested in the money that hes making , he has no feelings toward the relationships and bond people have with their animals. THE women in his office did try to pursuade him to allow us the treatment as we had been regularly going there for quite some time. He however had no time or patience to listen or even try to understand what my self and my familty were going through. I Will NEVER return to this vet and im writing this to let others know NOT To go there he cares only bout HIMSELF and The money in your wallet!
