My family has lived in many countries all over the world and our pets have always moved with us. This means that I have a lot of experience with animal clinics. When we arrived in Toronto 7 years ago, it took me about 4 years before I found a vet that I fully trusted and that is Dr. David. He is just fantastic with my dog and my 3 cats. He makes them feel at ease straight away which is fascinating to see. I never feel pushed into a 'unnecessary' treatment. Last but not least: Jody, the assistant/receptionist is such a nice and helpful person. She will do anything to get you an appointment as soon as possible. I absolutely recommend this place to everybody.

Is it possible to give this hospital NO STARS? Poorest service I have ever received. Dr. Brown and staff are dreadful, just dreadful! I took my sick cat in and they convinced us to embark on an expensive, painful and ultimately worthless course of treatment that made the cat's last months needlessly uncomfortable, but put several thousand dollars' worth of cash in their pockets. My friend C. also took her sick dog in and the vet misdiagnosed, gave the wrong medication, and bled them dry for a sick 17-year old dog. Heartless bastards who prey on our love for our animals. I would suggest you stay far away from this clinic - wish I had read the other reviews before I brought my poor anumal to these theives!

I have been going to this hospital for 3 years and have received poor service. My dog had a shot of DAP-3-year vaccine a year ago. I thought it will be good for 3 years. Today the vet at Brown's gave her another shot of DAP-3-year. The reason I was given was, the previous vet used a different brand of vaccine last year, and because now they have another brand of vaccine, they want to give to my dog again this year, so it "truly" lasts for 3 years. All this was explained to me by the technician, not the vet. Another issue was, Brown's gave my dog the physical exam, blood work, vaccine all in the back room. I didn't see any of this happening. They just took the dog away saying they will withdraw her blood at the back room. And 20 min. later, they said they gave her injections and physical exams already. All this is done without my acknowledgement or my permission. This shows a lack of respect for the pet owner and poor clinic practice. I am not coming back to this place again.

I took my puppy to this hospital for a check up and rabies shot. The puppy was about 7 months and the vet stated she was small for her breed. I have issues with this vet because she always looks for more ways to increase the vet bill whenever I visit this clinic and she is not accurate with her diagnosis or her comments. She stated my pup was on the small side then suggested I purchase the dog food they sell at the clinic. Give me a break! My pup's weight was well within the norm for her breed and she should have known that.

I had the absolute worst experiences at this clinic. They treated both my family and our cat very poorly and without any respect. The examples are too many to get into the details but my best advice is to stay away from this place.
