In the wee hours of the morning we brought in our Sadie who was very sick, she was given some sedation as she was laboring severely for breath, both the assistant and the vet took very good care of her and they did not nickel and dime us with tests or treatments that were not required. Both ladies were very considerate and compassionate when it was discovered after an xray just one that the situation was critical and there was nothing we could do to help our 7 year old Jug and we were placed in the comfort room, like a living room, with the dog on the couch beside my husband and she was previously sedated then applied the medications that would first put her to sleep then stop her heart and give her the rest she sought for days. I would recommend this animal hospital to anyone who would like staff that actually cares about not only your animal but for you also.

WOW, I brough my sick cat there over Christmas and I must say I was very impressed with them. My cat stayed for 3 days. I received phone calls twice a day for updates on my furry friend. They are expensive, however the are there for you when you need it most. Poncho and I thank you so much for the wonderful care he received over Christmas. He is totally back to his normal self. janet

The vets and techs are excellent. We took our older cat in after he ingested some string. The staff were quiet and calm with him as he did not like being taken in. All the options were thoroughly explained, and the chosen procedure was carried out efficiently. We waited in the spacious front room which is stocked with hot beverages, water, magazines and wifi. Lots of parking. Thankfully all went well with minimal stress and he is back to normal, thanks to Animal Emergency Ottawa.

On the evening of Oct 9/13 my husband & I arrived at this facility with our very ill cat who was in severe pain. Dr. Lilikas was on duty and she and her staff quickly assessed her situation. They could tell she was in a great deal of pain, but had to figure out why and quickly. After performing some tests, Dr. Lilikas was able to come up with a diagnosis and treatment plan. We can consider it a memory now, but we spent close to 4-5 hours at this facility that night and were treated with the utmost professionalism, care and respect - we cannot say enough about this facility. It was exceptionally clean and well maintained. Dr. Lilikas and her staff that evening were caring and gentle with our cat, not to mention us as it was very stressful on all! It was the first time, and no offense, but hopefully the last time we have to use a facility as such, but we were very glad we chose this one. We will highly recommend this facility and staff to anyone who wishes to hear! A very big "thank you"!

I had a very bad experience at this clinic. I brought in my sick rabbit who was suffering from what I suspect was an eye infection and got very little assistance. I had called ahead to see if there was a rabbit specialist on duty and was told there was, yet the vet I saw clearly did not know much about rabbits as she kept comparing my rabbit to a dog and cat. When I called the next day to indicate my rabbit was worse, all I was told is that it would be $65 for her to be looked at rather than the full fee. There seemed to be little to no compassion for the animals or owners and it all came down to money. I will never go back here and will never recommend this facility to anyone.
