I used to take my cats to this vet clinic. They overcharged my husband and I every time. Once I had made the difficult decision to put one of my cats that had cancer. They handled it in a very inappropriate way. Not 2 minutes after she had passed, did the vet tech come in and try to up sell us on paw prints and cremation. How INSENSITIVE. And I was so distraught my husband had to walk me to the car so he could pay but the vet chased us out like criminals as if we were not going to pay. This was after we had spent THOUSANDS of dollars to try to save our cat. My personal recommendation is to not take your animal here unless you would like for them to undergo unnecessary tests, pay exorbitant prices and get treated like a common criminal. Check the vet ratingz for these guys, it's terrible. There is good reason for it. They should be reported to the BBB. Take your beloved pet elsewhere. **INTERESTING NOTE** The reviewers that have "reviewed" Kanata animal hospital in a positive light only have 1 review each. That isn't normal.

The Kanata Animal Hospital has been wonderful to us and to our dog Winston. We have been going to the Kanata Animal Hospital for the past 3 years but over the past 3 months Winston has undergone 3 surgeries and so we've been there a lot more as of late. We cannot speak more highly of the service and care they provided to us and sir Winston. The fact that one of Winston’s favorite places to go is the vet speaks volumes about how fabulous you all are. He practically drags us from the car through the front door when we arrive! We love that you all know Winston by name and have a special place in your heart for him. It is evident that you all love and care for him, making it that much easier for us as pet-parents to trust that you will treat him with the utmost care when we leave him with you while he undergoes surgery. Thank you to all the Kanata Animal Hospital staff for making the past 3 surgeries as easy on all of us as possible. The people here are amazing! I've been taking my pets here for eleven years now because they are so loving. When my yellow lab became very ill, we took her to an emergency clinic where they didn't treat her well and didn't believe my answers to questions. We took her home against their advice because she didn't trust them. When we called Kanata Animal Hospital they took her in and made her better. They kept her in for as short a time as possible, told me exactly what to do for her care, called frequently to check on her and took her from deathbed back to bouncy typical lab again. They were able to tame down my very mean cat so that he doesn't even need to be held by me when being examined. Dr. Wright and all his staff (all the other vets too!) are so caring and loving, making us feel like we are special. They truly go way beyond ordinary pet care.

Dr. Wade Wright and staff are very nice and professional. We always have a great experience with our dog Milo upon entering the hospital. Dr. Wade spends the time to explain any treatments or medications. We also took advantage of the Animal Wellness Program for regular check-ups. Please ask the staff about it. Kanata Animal Hospital has provided me and my dog, hands down, the best care to date. I have been to many of the clinics in the area but none have offered as much help, guidance, and compassion as the staff of Kanata. Having a dog who suffers from a chronic condition, the staff of KAH frequently go above and beyond to ensure her needs are met and have been proactive in ensuring she stays healthy and happy. I initially visited as an emergency case, but the care and determination Dr. Wright offered in solving and treating my dogs issues were beyond any other veterinarians I had visited, including her regular vet, so I made the switch to their practice without hesitation. Every visit I am astounded at how much care and thought has gone into her treatment, and its really nice to know that she has staff rooting for her!
