I am a registered breeder and I've been taking all my dogs and their puppies to this hospital for 3 years. We just love them. They take the best care of our dogs and despite the office not being wheel chair accessible they have gone out of their way to make sure everything goes smoothly. We hope they stay in Ottawa for years to come.

I went in to get some info on spaying my lab and the staff were very knowledgeable and friendly. The veterinarian was also super nice and inforrmative to both me and my puppy during her first exam.

Olive, my six year old pug/chihuahua mix, broke a tooth on a deer antler chew toy. Our vet quoted $1250 for the removal of the tooth - more if additional teeth needed to be pulled. My wife and I wanted to get a second opinion, and a co-worker of hers recommended Lansdowne Animal Hospital, so we made an appointment and brought our dog in for an evaluation. We didn't like the idea of shopping around for our dog, but we also felt as though we were being ripped off. Lansdowne ended up pulling three teeth. The doctor took pictures on his iPhone and showed us which teeth he had pulled. He was lovely to interact with, as were the front desk staff. Total charges amounted to $450. Needless to say, I highly recommend Lansdowne.
