Dr. Anthony Ang and his team have taken care of our dog Charlie, for 8 and a half years, since he was a puppy. This included neutering, microchipping, annual check ups and vaccines and the odd illness. I have always felt that Dr. Ang was very informed, very thorough and very gentle. He never suggested services that were unnecessary. He always gave me all the facts, all the options, and the respective costs. He allowed me to make an informed decision. Six weeks ago Charlie became very listless and just not himself. We knew something was seriously wrong. Dr. Ang ran appropriate tests to rule out what it could be. Charlie had several conflicting symptoms. As test results came back, everything was pointing to hemangiosarcoma - horrible news for all of us. He quickly booked the biopsies and they confirmed the diagnosis. He quickly connected me with an excellent oncologist. The disease had spread into Charlie's lungs and spleen and now all we could do was love him and do everything possible to keep him comfortable. I had told Dr. Ang that when the time came, I wanted him to send Charlie to doggy heaven as I trusted him and his team and I knew he would be gentle and respect our beloved dog. Two days ago I called Dr. Ang to let him know it was time to give Charlie the peace he so deserved. He quickly found (or created) an opening for us that afternoon. For anyone who has gone through such a process, you know how difficult it is. Dr. Ang and his team were gentle, empathetic and respectful. Charlie was literally in good hands from puppy to the end. I cannot thank him enough for taking care of Charlie so well. If you are looking for a vet who is intelligent, well informed, easy to talk to (I asked lots and lots of questions and he always had time for me) and is in the business of genuinely wanting to keep your pet healthy, then call Canyon Hill Animal Hospital. Dr. Ang and his team will never let you down!

I have had good experience with them. with my dog and my familys dog. The Staff, and Dr. Anthony Ang are both friendly and experienced. They do charge alot, but it wont get much cheaper unless you go outside the city, or find a smaller vet. If you are worried about pricing, look into pet insurance and avoid having kids, that will not be any cheaper.

I've been bringing my pets (1 dog, 1 cat) to Dr. Ang for about 3 years now. He is gentle with them and caring. His staff is always very nice as well. I look at other reviews here that are more concerned about the money.....compared to other clinics I've been to, Canyon Hill is pretty comparable wrt cost.....as someone who has had pets for most of her life, I know that they can be expensive......they're are a big commitment! Look into cost before taking them on! Anyway, from my experience, Canyon Hill is up front about cost, they aren't trying to steal your money, and they definitely aren't trying to cheat you into doing unnecessary tests. Knowledge is power, people! Pets=responsibility! Canyon Hill is a very respectable place and I recommend it to all responsible pet owners!!

I have been using Canyon Hill for about 3 years the staff is kind an very helpful. The Doc is very meticulous, nothing gets by him. A Good Doc for my puppy Trust is everything.

I don't like to do this but I think that these guys are just out to get as much money out of me as they can. They use guilt to get you to test things that they know are a waste cost me and extra $160. Bad news I won't be going back.
