Sadly, my loving, senior, gentle, golden retriever was “in trouble” and needed a middle of the night emergency service. I was really upset and concerned as I hated to think of her in any pain, but I met the clinic’s wonderful veterinarian, Dr. Goldstein and knew I was in good hands. She made her comfortable and then asked me questions. She explained things patiently and in a way I could understand. She staged and minimized the number of tests needed to make a decision in consideration of my dog’s health. She talked me through options and gave me time to understand and ask questions. It broke my heart, but my dog was failing and in her best interests needed to be euthanized. I could not have wished for anyone else to help my dog on her final journey. At all times, Dr. Goldstein and her staff treated us with the utmost respect, kindness and consideration. I cannot thank them enough for helping me though the hardest decision and ensuring my dog was as comfortable as possible. As another person commented Dr. Goldstein is very empathetic and understanding...We are lucky to have her as our vet!

The staff at Vaughan Richmond Hill, sincerely took care of our little Casey. They answered all our questions and reassured us that he would be in excellent care. We were very confident and comfortable that our dog would recieve the necessary treatment overnight. We were assured that we could call anytime of the night to check in. In addition, it was also nice to recieve a follow-up call to see how our little one was doing. We were at ease and the environment was very warm and friendly. Had I known of this earlier we would of brought our dog in sooner rather than waiting for our regular vet hours. Don't hesitate.... when it comes to your pet's health. Never go to this animal hospital. The lady that works here is so pretentious. The atmosphere was not comforting at all it was cold and staff was cold as well. They just want your money (and by the looks of this place they do not need it) she did not seem like she cared that my cat was dying she just kept showing me the large bill. Please if you love your animal do not go here. I paid the most that I could for them to put my cat down without it suffering and I got nothing, not even a letter in the mail reassuring me that my cat was put to rest peacefully. Please never go here!

There isn't much variation in animal medical equipment or facilities from one place to the next, and so any clinic is only as good as its staff. Thank G-d for Dr. Greenstein and her expertise and wonderful attitude! We had a late-night puppy emergency and she went above and beyond to care for our 3 month old puppy, doing research and making calls through the night, and even calling us back days later on her own time to check in. What an amazing Dr. and overall caring person! She took care of our puppy and calmed us down with her professional care, and assured that absolutely everything possible was done for us. Coming in, we were honestly worried that our puppy may lose her vision, or worse, her eye, and are so so so happy to see her recovering thanks to the quick response by Dr. Greenstein and the rushed appointment that she set us up with within hours of seeing her. Forget about the cost - you can't put a price on that!

A mere three days after bringing our beloved new puppy home we noticed the sudden onslaught of lethargy, diarrhea and vomiting. We had no clue what had gone horribly wrong but we knew he needed help and fast. We had the good fortune to encounter Dr. Jenna Richards and her dedicated team at Vaughan Richmond Hill Veterinary Emergency Clinic. She diagnosed the parvo virus quickly and began the treatment that saved our puppy's life. Dr. Richards went far, far above the call of duty as she confidently treated this horrific virus and gave us hope. We'll be forever grateful that we caught the virus in time and for Dr. Richards' handling of the treatment. We're convinced that without her, we'd be facing a sadly different outcome. In my humble opinion, this short review doesn't do justice to the quality of care provided by Dr. Richards and her team; however, without hesitation, I highly recommend this well equipped modern clinic to anyone who needs emergency attention for their canine/feline companion.
