Great staff, took care of my sick turtle's needs and did follow up calls to make sure turtle got better which were extremely valuable. High quality of care for animals. Quick and efficient assessment of the situation. I would go there again.

Hello, My name is Tania Santana. I have a "mini zoo" at home. I have rescued animals that I have found injured on highways or donated by people that could not take care of them! Over the years I have trusted Dr. Luckwaldt with all my pets. He was great with my Iguana Selena, my rat Anabella. This summer we rescued a featherless baby Starling that fell from a roof at the Bluffers park restaurant "The Dogfish". Our little bird has become a fabulous pet. We only trust Dr. Luckwaldt with our precious Tweety. We have turtles, iguanas, birds, bearded dragons and we highly recommend The Amherst Vet Hospital.

DON'T EVER GO HERE. The vet couldn't even tell my hamster was a FEMALE not male and FORCED options rather than encouraging them. NEVER RECOMMEND TO ANYONE. BAD SERVICE. RUSHED. Vet was completely RUDE. Horrible job on euthanasia, pet will be SQUISHED. (my hamster had stains where her eyes were on the given towel. Her eyes are also looked squished and various parts of her body) They do not check your pet properly, if they're sick, they FORCE euthanasia rather than attempt to help. Just save your money and don't go here! Find another vet! These guys are MONEY HUNGRY!
