I have been going to Birchdan for just under five years. I've appreciated how kind and caring they are. This year I have run into problems with their billing services. They tried charging me twice for the same services, with two different prices. One was for $26 and the other for $53. I pointed it out and they refunded the higher priced one, no problem. I inquired about a list of prices for all of there services and they told me that the vet is supposed to tell me what the fees are before doing anything. The vet has walked in listened to my pets heart for 5 seconds and walked out without asking permission or telling me anything. This cost me $55 and the only justification I heard was that they have to assess how the pet is doing after getting new vaccinations. The problem was that this was a return visit a week later, no need to assess heart rates. I'm sorry Birchdan, I will be switching vets.

My family and I have been dealing with the Birch Dan Animal Hosp for so many years i couldn't tell you exactly how long and we have never ever had any type of problems with them. The front office staff are exelent friendly and courteous and the Dr's normally know what's wrong with the dog/cat before they even X-ray or examine the animal. Its amazing when you say to your pet" Do you wanna go and see the vet ?) And they are at the door jumping around to get out to the car.

I can't recommend this vet enough. They've been our vet for years, and we'll keep it that way! They're incredibly professional, they don't sell you a bunch of nonsense services that you won't need, and their Staff are dedicated folks. Highly recommended.

Great clinic, beautiful facilties, equally attractive staff, and a gifted veterinarian. What more could you ask for. My family, friends, and I have brought our pets to this hospital for years. To date we have not had one negative experience with the doctor nor his staff. Most financially reasonable and caring pet hospital I have ever had the pleasure of visiting.

This vet attempted to push me into $1500 worth of tests for a simple eye infection. If my human child would not get this level of tests why would my dogs. The vet suggested I was an inattentive owner not wanting to know where the eye infection came from. I had to fight with the vet to get the eye drops (I checked same medicine as humans). The vet said fine but he's not guaranteeing it will work. Of course the infection cleared up within 2 days. The vet said I'd need a quantity of 2 on the $30 eye drops. I never went through the first tube. I don't trust this vet. He attempted to take advantage of a sick dog and a overly concerned owner. He used emotion to push his agenda. Not a good experience, I'd never go back.
