I've been taking my dog here for the last 3 years, ever since she was just a few months old.The staff have always been nice and helpful with great Docotrs that are always pet friendly and very insightful. Not sure where the bad reviews are coming from. I've never been forced to purchace something I didn't want or forced into multiple return visits. Usually any problem I've come in with gets resolved that day. Also one of the cheaper priced vets in the city of Toronto.

We had made our first visit with them to figure out a dewormer and to get our puppy's last round of shots. After asking where we could get Heartgard Plus we were told to wait it out until our puppy would need to have it monthly. We went back for another appointment about a month later for a booster and were told that we would need NO prescription to prevent our puppy's worms. After some serious research online we realized we needed a prescription. Sure enough our puppy's worms came back. We called the vet and told them we needed the prescription and that they were at fault for misinforming us and misleading us. We were laughed at on the phone and told we would need to pay an $18 prescription writing fee. You've got to be kidding me!!!!! We were there for the worm problem the first time and told to get it later! They should have cover the fee! And after the rude conversation we've had we are done with the place. If you care about your pet's well being, go elsewhere.

I will never understand people who comment about the pricing of vet care. I suppose it's a function of our good fortune to have public health care in Canada; but the costs are what they are. A lot of the medicines and supplies are the same which are used in humans, except they aren't subsidized. I'd never want discount health care for myself, nor my cat. Plus, the costs are always made clear when the animal is dropped off.Sure you can go to discount vet clinics, but I always wonder what they are leaving out of the price when they are discounted? Is it something that makes my cat more comfortable? Something to prevent infection? Lesser quality pills? Or Aesthetics- where the higher qualities have much less risk?I'd much prefer to put my cat's health care in the hands of Dr. Caplan or his team, who take the most precautions with little Ozzy, spend time to explain what they are doing and discuss what we can do better than going to those "Dr. Nicks" of the vet world...

It's all about the money. Services are mostly overpirced and staff does not seem to care about your pet. Dr. Are not informative and never give out straight up answers. They just want you to come back and get yet another check-up. Very disappointed
