There is a reason this Vet Hospital is always so busy, and it is because of the amazing service. After living in Toronto for almost a decade, this Vet is by far, the best. I can only speak to my interaction with Dr Vu Hous (spelling?) as well as the many vet techs and staff we interacted with. We brought our cat Chloe here for several medical issues. Every time, Dr Vu Hous (sp?) began the diagnosis and subsequent treatment process by choosing the cheapest option that was best for us, and progressing to more expensive routes only as required. When it came time to put our cat to sleep, we went out of our way to ensure it was Dr Vu Hous who did it. Though we have never met with any of the other Vet's at the clinic (and I am certain they are all equally competent), she was phenomenally caring and gentle with our cat, and she and her staff were phenomenal through the process. We have gone to other vets in the city, and some were worse and some were ok. The price has NEVER been any worse or better then this vet, and the service has NEVER been nearly as good. Even after we moved from downtown to Etobicoke, we still take the 40 minute drive each way to come to this vet. Now that we are moving out of the province, we know we will never be able to find such a great vet ever again.

Ok, all of you pet owners out there BE CAREFUL!!!!!! Their staff appear very friendly which is nice, but I got dinged $500+ dlrs for a test that they "had to" perform and the results came back "inconclusive"!!! This is nothing but an institution trying to make a quick buck!! They are misinforming and deceiving customers in order to make money. Truly pathetic. Oh and by the way, don't speak to the Manager there, the doctor is the owner of the hospital, so any mistakes/misinformation/deceipt propagated by the doctor will go completely unpunished and unnoticed!! DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!!!!

I always have a great experience here. I board my golden retriever with them when I go away for a night and they are always good to her. I also bring here here for all vaccines and check-ups and the vet's are always friendly and so are the girls at the vet tech's at the front.

I have been bringing my dog here since we got her. I have a 3 year old English Bulldog and they are know to cost a ton, but dtah has been great and hasn't ripped us off. If all you are going to complain about is price and not the care for your animal, go to a lane way vet and see how good they a re for the price! My dog gets super excited when I ask her if she wants to go see the vet girls. She loves them and they treat her so well! I don't even live in the city anymore and I still bring her there!

Fred torn his nail right off at 10:30 pm. Downtown Toronto Animal Hospital was extremely helpful on such short notice. They took Fred in right away and gave him lots of love and care. I would highly recommend Downtown Toronto Animal Hospital to anyone in the DT area looking for a vet that really cares. As well being open till midnight 7 days a week help with late night emergencies!
